The terminology we so often and absentmindedly use has been determined by the political Left. The Left dominates the mass media and most other avenues of communication such as social media. 

And so homosexual has become ‘gay’, sex change surgery has become ‘gender affirming care’,  racial discrimination has become ‘Affirmative Action’, and Leftism itself has become ‘Progressive’ (even if they say so themselves…

People have heard and written about how, IMO, one of the biggest problems with our government at almost every level is the curse of partisanship. Small towns, for the most part, don’t have this problem because the elected officials are neighbors and friends who ran for a seat on their local government and care about where they live…

The elections are, for the most part, over and it is now time for our ‘elected representatives’ to get to work for US, the American citizens. Unfortunately, there are far too many of these ‘elected representatives’ who don’t seem to understand exactly what their job is.

Contrary to what far too many people think, we are a Representative Republic, not a Democracy. When the Constitution was written and ratified it included an amendment, the 10th Amendment, which states that the federal government only has the powers delegated to it by the Constitution, and that any other powers are reserved to the states or to the people…

It’s Wednesday morning and I am flipping between FOX News and MSNBC watching the after action reports on the election.

The folks at MSNBC are talking a very interesting line. Last night they were talking the Party line over and over again. But this morning they were, to some extent, eating their young. To listen to them it was obvious they were abandoning the (National Socialist) Democrat Party and running to suck up to the mid to moderate portion of the Party by criticizing those that had their hand in the back of the Harris puppet making her say all the (and I’m calling it what is was here) crap she was spouting. The (NS)DP actually thought they controlled the electorate and they would fall into line like good little Socialists….

It is 1:40 am and I cut the TV back on. All I can say is when they have their backs against the wall Americans always eventually always get it right. The greatest political come back ever, maga bucks spent by the radical left., a weaponized judicial system, attempted assassination. voter fraud , political fraud and much more. TRUMP never gave up. The left has already starred talking about it was the bias against women, it was the black men etc. No it was because the voters came out in massive numbers and that our constitutional republic worked. OUR FOUNDERS DESERVE A PAT ON THE BACK…

Propaganda is alive and well in the (National Socialist) Democrat Party apparatus. It’s “1984”, just 40 years late.

When the head puppet (aka the President) appeared to go off script and accuse roughly half the country, primarily voters, specifically Republican/Conservative voters of being “garbage” he was called out on it very quickly. The WH press office quickly altered the official written transcript by adding an apostrophe to an official government record in order to cover their true opinion of voters who refuse to fall into the Party line…

Anti-women, anti-American, anti-immigrant, anti-gay, anti-black, anti-muslim, xenophobic “haters” who are just deplorable garbage.

That’s what Democrats think of us…

Please allow me, Dori Goebel, to make some points in response to Mr. Jon Firebaugh’s letter to the editor on October 24th.

First: Bill Goebel was asked by BJ Barnes to allow his name to be raised as an alternative to Chris Meadows as chair of the Guilford County Republican Party. Firebaugh and others stood with Bill and myself to declare their support for Bill. They even met at my home to plan the strategy to call all the party committee members and assist in what Bill would say as he talked about why he agreed to BJ’s request to put his name out. All of you knew that Chris is a preening, frat boy, trust fund baby that felt entitled to the President spot. Now, I am beyond thankful that God closed that door – we would not want to be in the position to have to support the disgusting, disgraceful Republican Nominee for Governor – Chris has no problem standing with that man…

Last year myself and others put forward and supported Bill Goebel as a candidate for Chairman of the Guilford County Republican Party. As the real party of democracy, there was an actual election and Chris Meadows was elected chairman in a three-way race. Goebel touted his friendship with Chief Justice Paul Newby, his role as a regional representative of the Boy Scouts, and his attaining the status of Eagle Scout as some of his qualifications.  I was also a boy scout, a trained scout leader, and additionally took Scouting’s “Wood Badge” training, the pinnacle of scout leadership training….

In just a few weeks, we will be going to the polls in untold numbers to perform our civic duty. This is a very crucial and pivotal election this term. November 5, 2024, we must vote for the best candidate who closely aligns with...

Monday morning after North Carolina was still fighting to recover from the extreme amount of damage in our beautiful Appalachian Mountain communities, Trump sends a social media message that ends with “…but don’t like the reports that I’m getting about the Federal Government, and the Democratic Governor of the State (North Carolina) going out of their way to not help  people of Republican areas….”  Only a POS would make up such a bold lie in order to politicize a natural disaster such as NC is facing for his political advantage….

So based on the listing of permitted “eligible voters”, the State of NC has a voter ID law but you can still vote if you don’t have one.

Folks, what does that sound like to you? Our “elected representatives”, the people WE choose to represent US, to work to ensure we have a strong, safe way of life, these “professional politicians”, both D & R, have once again managed to do the famous Politician Two-Step and make themselves look like they really care about We the People, when in fact it’s more about the “who’s going to take care of ME” mob…

Nonbiased media has criticized Kamala Harris for changing policy positions.  Curiously, most policy changes mirror Donald Trump’s.  But why?…

First, she can.  She was appointed.  She didn’t run in primaries this cycle.  Generally, most primary candidates position themselves to the extreme.  GOP candidates try to be more conservative than their opponents.  Democrat candidates try to be more liberal than their opponents.  She is counting on us to forget.  Media and voters must remember Harris’s claimed policy positions from the primaries four years ago…

Today Hillary Clinton called Donald Trump “a threat to the planet.”  Apparently, he’s been promoted from merely “a threat to democracy.”…

One, if not the biggest item in this campaign is the illegal aliens streaming across our borders. There is very little, if any, action being taken by this administration to control it, and we are seeing the results. American citizens, some being children, are being attacked and in too many cases killed, by illegals. Laws are being broken and then selectively ignored by government officials, and in some cases result in American citizens being injured or worse yet, killed. Add to that how cities are giving these illegals basically everything American citizens have to work hard for and then expecting those same citizens to pay for it by raising taxes and cutting important services like fire and police.
