Since my recent letter implying harms from the Emergency-Use-Authorization jab (for the Fauci-funded virus), it has been announced that Biden has been diagnosed with highly advanced Stage 4 prostate cancer.  With a doctor’s office in the White House and the normal extended course of prostate cancer, the tardiness of this announcement is intriguing.

There is a possible explanation related to the topic of my previous letter.  In April 2024, the Journal Cureus published a peer-reviewed study about rising cancer deaths in Japan following the third jab.  By 2024, Japanese deaths from prostate cancer had skyrocketed to 80% over the 2018 baseline. It’s obvious how far the Left (aka the Democrat Party) is willing to go to destroy America. A sitting judge, a person who’s supposed to be neutral, a person who’s responsible for keeping our society from falling into chaos decided she knows better than the law who and should not be held accountable based on her personal beliefs.

                  The VAERS system set up by the CDC to record adverse reactions to vaccines through March of 2025 records 38,541 deaths attributed to the Emergency Use Authorization Covid jab.  220,494 hospitalizations were attributed to the jab, related to myocarditis, blood clots, neurological, and other harms. [1]  A 2010 Harvard study demonstrated that only a very small portion of the actual vaccine adverse effects tended to penetrate the bureaucratic disincentives and succeed in being recorded in VAERS….

As a candidate for Greensboro City Council District 4, I am raising the alarm about House Bill 765, a bill currently moving through the North Carolina General Assembly that directly threatens Greensboro’s ability to govern itself.
This bill would strip local municipalities of zoning authority, prohibiting cities like Greensboro from enacting zoning regulations that are more restrictive than state law. Even more troubling, it would impose state-mandated minimum density requirements based solely on population, without regard for local infrastructure, safety, or neighborhood character…

May 1st…May Day.

The same date with two different meanings. A day of spring and the start of summer in many cultures, a day celebrated by socialists/communists as InternationalWorkers’ Day, a day that commemorates workers’ historic struggles and achievements in others.

Care to guess which one all these ‘celebrations’ taking place across the country are celebrating?…

I listen to Bernie Sanders; a Democratic Socialist (self-identified) who strongly advocates a universal health care system in the U.S.

He goes across the country advocating for this but the one thing I have not heard anyone do is pin him down on the most important aspect of this concept. Who is going to pay for it and how would providers be paid? Before you start pointing at the U.K. system, or any other for that matter, look closely at it, and ask yourself if it works so well, why do people in countries under this system flock to the U.S. for treatment? What is the quality of care, at all levels, compared to the U.S.? Why are some forms of care denied by these systems? And finally, most importantly, what is the number of doctors there compared to here? Not only should these questions be answered, but these people need to be pressed to give an answer, not talking points…

Trump has been very active during his first 100 days in office.  That is about the only positive comment I can make given that most of his actions have harmed our economy for the next several years if not for decades.   This is not just a worrying liberal minded person’s gut feeling.  The early indicators are all pointing to a negative outcome for the US economy. The leading indicators pointing to our economic downturn are:

–          Stock market volatility and decline (Morningstar US stock index is down -8%)   (Note all other major economy’s market indexes are up.  For example:  Germany +18%, China +12.4%, Europe +10%, Japan +9% and even Canada is +4% based on Morningstar indexes…

Together with more than 1,500 residents, we successfully deployed a Neighborhood Conservation Overlay (NCO) to protect an established Greensboro neighborhood from reckless rezoning and overdevelopment. That wasn’t just a victory for one neighborhood but a win for the future of responsible, community-driven planning across our city….

I am opposed to the Williams Companies pipeline through Oak Ridge because I love Oak Ridge and my community. 

Williams generates millions of dollars in profits for shareholders every year. Over the last 5 years, Williams stock hasincreased in value 3 times more than the S&P 500.

They have achieved this financial performance in part by utilizing land free of charge to transport their product. Manycitizens pay annual taxes on the ROW after the pipeline made the land worthless over the last 70 years…

I’m really starting to question the judiciary system and the people that make it up. These are people that make potentially life altering decisions while sitting in judgment of us. We are already seeing district judges making ruling affecting national issues, something that, IMO, is an overreach of their authority. There is talk of congressional action, but I believe the Supreme Court needs to be the one to make the ruling.

While there’s been much made of the tendency of these people to make these decisions based on their personal political slant, a couple of recent incidents have changed the paradigm in what I consider a dangerous…

Speaking as a long-time resident of the New Irving Park neighborhood, in a home on Willoughby Boulevard.  I’m writing to support Nicky Smith’s remarks about the Greensboro City Council and its highly capricious and short-sighted April 17th decision to rezone property.

Aside from district 3 representative, Zack Matheny, six other city council representatives displayed a callous disregard for the neighborhood.   The rezoning decision ignored the will of neighborhood residents and the city’s own land use guidelines…

Courts and prisons are overwhelmed and underfunded. Courts frequently agree to deport accused illegal aliens to save limited trial resources. The accused agrees in order to avoid significant jail time and, in many cases, a criminal record. This creates a huge crack to fall through.

Our borders are so porous that it’s easy to return. Depending on local reporting procedures, border agents and other jurisdictions often don’t know about these agreements. Since the trial stopped before reaching a verdict, they weren’t found guilty. Their records are essentially clean. A few years ago, an illegal alien in New York was repeatedly deported (repeatedly returned) for harassing an individual that he eventually murdered…

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That, whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness.

Right now, the great boogeyman making the rounds is the “T” word…tariffs. Based on 95% of news stories, blogs, talking heads and “expert economists” the American economy is on life support and the plug is very loose, due to tariffs.

Believe it or not, not everything in this country is under the threat of tariffs. If it is manufactured in this country, it is NOT subject to a tariff. That is not to say that there are items that cannot be manufactured here that have to be imported, and will be subject to those tariffs. But if people stop and do a little research, a little comparison shopping, they will find the damage can be minimized, not eliminated (yet) but minimized….

As “Signal Gate” balloons, biased critics look more hostile, irrational, and sheltered than ever.  Cell phones and text messaging are already an unstoppable reality.

There are countless historical examples of failures when traditionalists resist technology.  Initially, military traditionalists feared the security risks of two-way radios.  So, many continued to use pen and paper exclusively.  Radio signals transmit everywhere within a radius.  The entertainment radios of the time could accidentally pick up transmissions.  However, pen and paper also had risks.  Slow couriers could be delayed, intercepted, or killed by the enemy.  The courier could be a spy or otherwise sympathetic to the enemy’s cause…

The controversy surrounding Mike Waltz’s use of “Signal” highlights confusion between two similar yet distinct concepts: Operational Security (OPSEC) and Classified Information.

 Operational Security is a piece of information that, by itself, is not classified.  However, if compiled with other separate information from other sources, it may total into classified information.  Even if it doesn’t sum into sensitive, secret, or top secret information, it could still benefit a persistent enemy…

Is It Time for Greensboro to Rethink DEI? Balancing Equity, Merit, and Federal Compliance

The recent actions taken by High Point University (HPU) to ban, then reverse course on, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) language in response to federal funding threats have reignited a critical discussion: Is DEI achieving its intended goals, or has it become a barrier to hiring the most qualified individuals? Greensboro should take note of this debate and consider reassessing its own DEI initiatives.

HPU swiftly removed nearly 50 DEI-related terms, fearing that failure to comply with federal directives could jeopardize millions in funding. The university’s decision, though later softened, underscores a broader issue—many institutions and organizations nationwide are beginning to reconsider whether DEI policies are truly fostering fairness or inadvertently creating new disparities….

The property tax increase proposed by Comrade Skip Alston and most likely backed by his ‘yes sir’ cronies on the Board pushes the limits of County residents to have even a chance of having their heads above water. Given the makeup of the Board it will pass and there is nothing we can do about it.

One idea I’ve thought of was legislation requiring a ¾ majority vote on tax issues to pass because a simple majority is too slanted to the side of those Board members voted in by City residents. That is the second highest vote total in U.S. history, trailing only the 81,284,666 votes ( seems impossible doesn’t it) that Joe Biden won in 2020. Trump won 3,059,799 more popular votes in 2024 than he won in 2020 and 14,299,293 more than he won in 2016. He now holds the record for the most cumulative popular votes won by any presidential candidate in U.S. history, surpassing Barack Obama. Running three times for the White House obviously helps. His count in 2025 was TOO BIG TO FAIL.
Kamala Harris won 74,999,166 votes or 48.3 percent of the votes cast. That was 6,285,500 fewer popular votes than Biden won in 2020, but 774,847 more than Trump won in 2020…

True defense of the world’s “starving children”

The majority of Americans support USAID under two conditions:

It sticks to funding basic food/water, infrastructure, health (immunizations, antibiotics, antiretrovirals, and maternal health), and education (math, science, and reading) during international humanitarian assistance,
Domestic spending on social security, Medicare/Medicaid, VA health, and FEMA isn’t risked.

Abolishing the Penny seems like a good idea at first blush, but there would be two negative consequences.

Without the ability to make exact change in cash, merchants will inevitably start folding sales tax into the listed price, rather than adding it to the price. So a $10.00 item will come to be priced at $10.70 (incl. tax) on shelves.

I’ve seen this before. When VAT (Value Added Tax, a variant of sales tax) was introduced in the UK, many stores initially quoted their prices as “plus VAT”, so the VAT was added to the transaction at the end, as we do here. But ultimately they all folded the tax into the price, for the sake of clarity and simplicity….

I never claimed sole credit for the Preserve Friendly Avenue initiative; over 1,500 homeowners worked together to secure the Neighborhood Conservation Overlay (NCO). of it. Nicky Smith spoke about his vision for Greensboro and shared his thoughts about filling the
at-large seat formerly held by the late Yvonne Johnson. After speaking, Nancy Hoffmann
responded to Smith with a 10-minute tirade against him and his background. This seemingly
came out of nowhere, as no other speaker attempting to fill Johnson’s seat was treated in this
manner. On the surface, Hoffmann’s attack was grueling to say the least; but therein lies the
problem, “on the surface.”…

I’m watching the news, jumping back and forth between FOX and MSNBC on coverage of the release of the three Israeli hostages.

What amazes me is the level of somewhat sympathetic coverage of the Palestinian prisoners being released versus that of the Israelis. They were going on and on about women and children being exchanged, talking about the supposed conditions while there was NO talk about how the Israelis were kept and treated. It will be interesting to hear their story and how they were treated. They talked about the children but I have yet to hear one word about children and infants that were taken by the terrorists have been treated. They talk about the civilians, women and children, killed during the war. What about the Israeli CIVILIANS that have been killed by spineless wonders. ANY civilian casualties in combat should be avoided as much as is physically possible but when your targets are in schools, hospitals, private homes with civilians being used, in some cases involuntarily, as shields by an organization of uncaring animals who hide behind a religion to justify their actions it is literally impossible to avoid those casualties….

Today as President Trump is inaugurated for the second time, I, like millions of immigrants before me, feel profoundly grateful to be living my life in the greatest country in the World.

The seamless transfer of power from a senile and corrupt old man to a real American patriot fills me with exuberant joy.
And I’m only on beer number three!…

As I look at Danny Roger’s 6th Anniversary as Guilford County Sheriff, I see the same issues plaguing the Sheriff’s Office that affected the Sheriff’s Office after his 1st 90 days. Low morale, severe officer shortages, rampant employee turnover, wasteful spending, lack of transparency, failed hiring practices, and the list goes on. 

Is Greensboro not better than this?  Is this the best we can do. Roger’s lack of leadership ability and resource management skill have cost the taxpayers dearly.

I haven’t even scratched the surface on his failures to help reduce violent crime in Greensboro.
Having NO plan is a plan to fail. Rogers has done well in the category of failures….

So I am currently homeless and have been for two and a half years.

I have a few points from what people have mentioned here:

– GSO is an easy place to be homeless, apparently?

I would like to point out that being homeless ANYWHERE, even in a shelter, is not easy in any shape, form or fashion under any circumstances. You don’t even understand or comprehend the mental determination, acumen and strength it takes to walk around this city, and especially within the homeless community, to merely collect things you need to barely survive. Need fresh water? Often that’s a mile walk from where many homeless reside. Food? Once again, miles a day walked. A shower? If you mean the 4 hours a day the IRC offers them 5 days a week max, then a basic count of approximately 300 homeless using these “Amenities” get to have 4 minutes of showering a week – each. Less on the weeks when the IRC is closed on a Friday for “Staff training”…

This is my road map to make Greensboro Great again!

The first thing that needs to be done with the Greensboro Mayor, City Council, and Department Heads of the City of Greensboro is to establish accountability.
1) No one should serve as our Mayor on our City Council if they or their entity is funded by the City of Greensboro and its taxpayers.
2) Our Chief of Police must immediately fall under a new incentive plan which will be based on his or her performance. The bar will be set by the rate of crime in Greensboro. Other incentives will be based on the number of illegal guns and habitual offenders that are taken off our streets. This compensation plan will penalize the compensation of our Police Chief based on homicides, aggravated assaults, auto crash injuries, and property damages from auto crashes in our city….
