We Need Mark Robinson As Governor
Dear Editor,
We need a governor who knows he is there to be a leader for the people of North Carolina.
We need a governor who will stand in front of the citizens and tell us what we need to hear, not what he thinks we want to hear.
We need a governor who, on the national level, will be our voice to bring those things that can and will make North Carolina the place for businesses.
We need a governor who will reflect the standards and values of this great state.
We need a governor who understands he cannot please everyone on everything but can and will try to reach out to compromise, but will not “go along to get along.”
We need a governor who will stand up to the federal government in the name of the people and say “No!” to their social engineering.
We need a governor who knows that the job is to be our leader, our representative.
We need a governor who will make those hard decisions and, if wrong, has the intestinal fortitude to admit it.
We need a governor who makes decisions based on the people’s wants and needs, not personal beliefs.
We need Mark Robinson as our next governor.
Mark and I were present at the anti-gun rally held in Greensboro a few years back in support of the Second Amendment. We were approached by a group, with a camera by the way, wanting to try to get some propaganda footage. Mark engaged them in a discussion, not a shouting match, not a confrontational argument, but a discussion. In the end, everyone agreed to disagree and, before they left, their spokesperson shook Mark’s hand. This is the kind of person Mark is. This is the kind of person we need in the governor’s mansion.
Businesses are fleeing blue states as fast as they can and we have an opportunity to attract those businesses to the betterment of our economy. Mark knows this and will work for us to bring these jobs here. Mark can and will work to make North Carolina the place to be.
We need Mark Robinson as our next governor.
Carpe diem,
Alan Marshall
Mark Robinson is an embarrassment to our great State of North Carolina. He is a hypocrite who wants to remove women’s right to abortion yet paid for his own girlfriends abortion when the need suited him. He has said that slaves should be thankful for being brought to the United States as if they didn’t suffer for generations under brutal slave owners. He doesn’t beleive women deserve the right the vote and has backed his church’s stance against women leaders. And of course he is a bigoted anti LGBTQ hater that spews ignorance every time he speaks on the subject.
Vote Stein for governor.
Well, if I were an African-American I would thank God every day that my ancestors had been brought to America.
Otherwise I’d be living in some African country. Wouldn’t you?
I can’t think of a more ignorant statement from you Austin.
I would be angry that my ancestors were treated less than human so southern states could profit off their labor. I would be angry that the south was so used to tormenting my ancestors that they tried to divide the country so they could continue to abuse my ancestors for profit. I would be angry that to this day, white men judge me for the color of my skin and have spent decades enacting laws to keep people of color in poverty and held back from full access to the benefits of being American.
So nope. If I were African-American, I would wonder how life would be if the countries of the world hadn’t used the continent of Africa as a free source of human labor. If countries hadn’t stripped Africa of so much of it’s natural resources etc… etc… etc…
What a silly rant.
But when you can’t sleep tonight, just ask yourself if you’d rather be living in Senegal or the States.
We all know the answer.
Way to continue to back white nationalist propaganda. Guess we know where you get your ‘news’.
Where is that then, Chrissy?
C’mon.
I only speak truth. You can’t handle the truth.
Exactly, Chris, but he more than an embarrassment to NC; he’s an ass.
But Stein is not the answer, either. I personally have petitioned his office for assistance repeatedly and have either been ignored or told his office doesn’t handle such concerns such as unlawful evictions which caused indigence to upstanding individuals. And what his office has failed to do with our aging population is beyond reproach.
I’m going to stick with what i know and hope re-electing our governor will keep these ineffective mouthpieces at bay.
Glenn, thanks to voters who love term limits, Cooper isn’t able to run for Governor again. Looks like you’ll be voting for a Libertarian or another party. You better do some research. Good luck. And you might want to watch the complete videos of the things Robinson has said, not just video clips because much is taken out of context.
You can always write your name in. I do that when I don’t like any of the choices. One day I’ll be your ________(fill in the office here).
Cooper is term limited and cannot be re-elected.
—-
Why were you evicted, Glenn?
You can’t re-elect the governor whose time in office is over.
The header Had “Mark Walker” as the needed Governor. I ’bout puked. I agree the choice for Governor Is Mark Robinson.
John, please tell me I didn’t do that.
Trump said elections are rigged. Do not waste time voting.
Always vote. Always. It’s our responsibility as citizens.
Yeah, you’re right Frank. Let’s all just roll over like good little serfs lick our master’s boots. [snark]
I agree that all Trump supporters should sit out the election if they don’t trust the voting process of the United States with all its checks and balances, its quality and anti-fraud controls and of course all of the audits required before the votes are certified.
Yup, if you don’t believe in THAT voting system, you shouldn’t vote.
Best wishes.
Well, let’s all keep track of these numbers come November and see if something drastically changes.
Total Democrat turnout for the NC March 2024 primary for President: 694.655 (606,596 for Old Joe)
Total Republican turnout just for Trump: 790, 817
Total Republican turnout for the primary for President: 1,070,852
So in November, when Joe magically draws down 40% more votes than he did the other day and pulls in record numbers of voters out of the blue and gets the win, then we will know something is up.
I wouldn’t think there a correlation between primary voting and final voting. That is the kind of flawed thinking that silly conservatives still use to make up excuses for having lost the 2020 election. Given there was no real contention for the Democratic nominee for president, I assume it logical that Democrats had a lower turnout in the primary and therefore a higher turnout for the final voting unless there were really interesting local contests lower down the card in the primaries.
You have a couple caveats tucked in there. First of all, there was no real contention on the Republican side either. Yeah Nikki was still technically on the ballot, but had not come close to Trump in almost any contest. It was over before Super Tuesday came, and everyone knew it. So that point is out the window.
As to your other caveat of unless there were other down ballot contests. Well of course there were. Unless the entire ballot was all incumbents running unopposed, which it wasn’t, that point is out too.
We all understand that my example is not a 1 to 1 prediction of what turnout will be in November. Roughly the same ratios of people will turn out in November that turned out in March. Sure, the volume will go up, but there is no reason way more of one party would suddenly show up over the other.
Lastly, if something as simple as a hanging chad can throw the Dems into election fraud uproar, I wouldn’t be the one who keeps trying to lay all the fraud hype accusations on Republicans. And I think we spent all four years of Trump’s term hearing about election fraud from Russia Collusion. Hypocrite.
Exit polling showed a significant percentage of Nikki voters stating they would NOT vote for Trump. That includes registered republicans. I think that will is rather telling to how the ratios will potentially shift.
I trust the voting system. It’s the members of the (National Socialist) Democrat Party that work in it I don’t trust.
You think only democrats work within the election system? Lol
You really have been conned by those thst target grumpy little old men. Lol
2020 election was the most audited, investigated, and studied election in the history of the US. No mass fraud found. Yet conservatives still feed the lie. What suckers.
Yeah, and Dems never did such a thing did they? Oh wait, I still remember the Hanging Chad fiasco and seems like Hillary had one too…. oh yeah, the Russia collusion allegation that the Trump victory was not legitimate. Election fraud grumbling happens on both sides dude. Don’t pretend it doesn’t.
If I still remember, the conservatives won the hanging Chad fiasco. Russia collusion is starting to look a lot like the Biden corruption investigation given the only witness turned out to be a Russian agent. LMAO.
I have never heard of a democrat claiming the election was stolen at the national level due to mass election fraud anywhere near what Trump and his clowns claim. Name one example. I will wait.
That’s because Republicans don’t engage in wholesale national vote fraud.
The Democrats have been doing it since they rigged the 1960 election and got Kennedy in.
No. They didn’t. Say it all you want. It was a lie then. It is a lie now. The 2020 election was the most audited, studied, and analyzed election in the history of the US. Guess what. No mass fraud. Just the same tired false narratives that had very clear explanations once the actual circumstances were discussed. Heck, many of the lies where proven in court! Just ask Fox News.
Drumming up fear is the only trick conservatives have left since it is becoming clear that their policies are not popular with the majority of Americans.
