Music for a Sunday Evening in the Park has become a summer Sunday tradition for many Greensboro families, and Creative Greensboro plans to hold the 41st season of MUSEP in 2020, albeit with some adjustments.

All plans are subject to change as the world adjusts to the presence of the coronavirus. But currently the plan is to stream MUSEP on Creative Greensboro’s Facebook Page Sunday, July 19, featuring Kay & Adriel (Alternative Soul) at 6 p.m. and the Philharmonia of Greensboro (Classical, Pops) at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday, July 26 will also being streamed on Creative Greensboro’s Facebook page and will feature Sweet Dreams (Blues, R&B, Jazz, Soul) at 6 p.m. and Knights of Soul at 7:15 p.m.

Beginning in August, the hope is that MUSEP will return to the parks and other outdoor venues, but that could certainly change depending on the coronavirus.

But the current plan is that Sunday August 2 MUSEP will be held at Gateway Gardens with West End Mambo (Latin) playing at 6 p.m. and SunQueen Kelcey and the Soular Flares (Soul, Rock) at 7:15.

Sunday August 9 MUSEP will be held in Lindley Park with Tony & Katy (Country, Rock, Alternative, Pop) at 6 p.m. and the Greensboro Concert Band (Classical, Pops) at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday, August 16 at Latham Park MUSEP will feature the Gate City Divas (Rock, R&B) at 6 p.m. and doby (Funk) at 7:15 p.m.

Sunday, August 23 MUSEP will be held at Hester Park and feature Shadowgrass (Bluegrass) at 6 p.m. and Freeway Jubilee (Rock, Americana) at 7:15 p.m.

The MUSEP 2020 season is scheduled to end on Sunday, August 30 at White Oak Amphitheatre in the Greensboro Coliseum Complex with Pastor Todd Curry and St. Peter the Rock Inc. Ministry Choir (Gospel) at 6 p.m. and Banna (Celtic) at 7:15 p.m.
