6th District Candidate Castelli Responds

Dear Editor,

My opponents are desperately attacking me in the final days before Election Day, but I will not be deterred. I believe in the Constitution of the United States and swore an oath to support and defend it over three decades ago. The fourth line of the Constitution states, “No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty-five Years and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen.”

No matter what my opponents say, I am faithful to this constitutional requirement and have lived in North Carolina for the last 24 years – most of that time while serving our country as a Green Beret at Fort Bragg.

My current residence has been redistricted multiple times in the past few years and my home has been in the 6th District in years past. My wife and I chose our current residence years ago because of its proximity to the VA facilities in Fayetteville. I am a service disabled, multi-tour combat veteran who suffered significant injuries in combat. I do not wear this fact on my sleeve and have never used it for political gain, it is simply a fact.

Now that the district lines have been temporarily redrawn, I have placed my home on the market and, when I win the primary, will relocate to the 6th Congressional District. I look forward to serving the people of North Carolina in the United States House of Representatives.

Respectfully,

Christian Castelli

Republican Congressional Candidate for the 6th District

Disappointed In Buy Out Of Gun Show

Dear Editor,

I’m very disappointed to learn that our Greensboro City Mayor Nancy Vaughan, Greensboro City Council and Greensboro city leaders have used our tax money to buy out the promoter of the Greensboro Gun Show, censoring citizens from their rights to choose what is in their best interest.

This is very serious and have lost all confidence in the City of Greensboro. It’s time to clean house on Tuesday by voting. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend voting on any incumbents.

Furthermore, I have many friends, dads, sons and daughters whose lives have benefitted from participating in the sportsmanship of hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
