Trump Took Action Before Others Saw Threat

Dear Editor,

Dr. Anthony Fauci on “PBS News Hour” told that China had clearly kept the rest of the world from preparing for the Wuhan coronavirus.

In early January, China stated that it was not being transmitted human-to-human. It was soon realized that was a lie.

However, on Jan. 21, Dr. Fauci said, “This is not a major threat for the people of the United States and is not something that the citizens of the United States should right now be worried about.” Bret Hume says this should be kept in mind by those accusing anyone in the United States for failing to act in time against the coronavirus.

The World Health Organization (WHO) was also saying no human-to-human transmission on Jan. 14.

Trump took action before any western leader and on Jan. 29 formed the President’s Coronavirus Task Force. Jan. 31, he closed entry to the United States by foreign nationals from China. Democrats stated this was “racist and xenophobic.” Biden called it “fear mongering.”

And what were the Democrats busy with in January; trying to impeach him. This was what the news was full of, not cornavirus. Trump saw what needed to be done and did it.
