Pandemic Turned Into Power Grab

North Carolina, like a majority of the rest of the country, is under an authoritarian lockdown and it’s based on generated, not made up, generated lies.
During a congressional hearing, Robert Redfield of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, when asked if hospitals have a “perverse incentive” to inflate COVID-19 fatality numbers, replied, “I think you’re correct in that we’ve seen this in other disease processes, too,” referring, for example, that a person that died of a heart attack, but had HIV, had the cause of death listed as HIV.
This is a classic case of follow the money. Hospitals have financial incentives to report COVID-19 deaths so if there is a connection in any way they are going to do so. Texas had to redo their numbers by over 3,500 after it came to light they were counting anyone who tested positive regardless of the actual cause of death as a COVID-19 death. A man who died in a motorcycle accident was counted. The family of a woman who died of natural causes was offered $1,000 if they would allow her cause of death to be listed as COVID-19. In Florida, people waiting in line to be tested had filled out their paperwork but left before actually being tested received letters in the mail telling them they tested positive for the virus.
Even an idiot knows that when you increase testing, positive numbers will go up. And at some point I believe we will find an amazing number of people have the virus and are asymptomatic. And when is there going to be a side by side comparison of numbers, not percentages, numbers of flu victims versus COVID-19 victims. I say hard numbers and not percentages because that’s another method the main stream liars use to scare people. Which sounds scarier, 1 out of 4 or 25 percent? Percentages without context can be on the line between truth and lie.
I’m not trying to downplay the severity of this situation. Any epidemic/pandemic is a situation requiring immediate and sometimes drastic action. But this has turned into a power grab by “elected officials” who have become drunk on power and are using it to help drive the (National Socialist) Democrat party agenda for this very critical election.
Republican/conservative voter turnout is more important than ever.
Exercise your right to vote or risk losing it forever.

Still very disappointed that The Rhino continues to print your tinfoil hat conspiracy theories. I trust most people are smart enough to see through your alarmist insights. COVID is a real issue, it can very easily get worse before it gets better, and we are lagging other countries in our ability to contain the virus. Those are facts. To believe our COVID response involves coordinated data fraud by hospitals is both sad an counterproductive.
I truly hope The Rhino will stop posting your conspiracy theories that lack any specific evidence or sources. Just put your tinfoil hat…don’t want to government using their mind control on your future articles.
OK Chris, you caught me. I only made up the congressional hearings and Robert Redfield of the CDC.
And I actually was downplaying the current situation and don’t consider any epidemic/pandemic anything to worry about.

I take it that you are very committed to free speech– as long as it’s your own.
People can express their thoughts and opinions in this country. You or I don’t have to agree with them. We can offer information to challenge or dispute what people say. You might even want to agree with something. Shock.
When you express a desire to have people censored and their opportunity to use public forums to share their views on public policy blocked; that’s just wrong. Socialist, Communist and Fascist countries do that. Not here.
As far as the accuracy of the data being collected from all these various sources goes, well it might be correct. After 16 years in government service and then 14 more in private sector I can tell you there is a reason we have auditors. If they can’t keep accurate numbers on inventory, people or money why would anyone be so confident in the COVID numbers?
Everyone in the country is wrong EXCEPT Alan Marshall, what a burden to have to carry. I bet you find it tough to sleep at night with all that conspiracy crap floating around in your head. I plan to vote and it WILL NOT be for anyone in the DO NOTHING republican party which, by the way, is pretty much SOLELY responsible for this mess because of the lack of a coordinated FEDERAL response. Hope you and yours stay safe from the democratic “imaginary” virus. Oh wait, that’s not right, that would be your POSOTUS’s “China” virus. He’s winning bigley, 156,000+ and counting DEAD Americans however YOU want to count them.

Why do you want flu numbers? It certainly wouldn’t be to compare the two and downplay coronavirus because you said that you weren’t trying to downplay this. But then why?
Am I missing something with 1/4 vs 25%? They both sound the same to me. You’re right though, many don’t have the numerical literacy to understand what data means. Some of us “idiots” might think that an increase in volume of tests should have no effect on percentage of positive cases. We might think that a percentage tells us a different and also important thing as raw numbers. Some of us “idiots” might be shocked to find out that there are more deaths in the figurative war against Coronavirus than in the literal war in Vietnam. Even “idiots” knew when to stop putting lives at risk over there.
But you are right, everyone GO VOTE! And great news, mail in ballots are now “safe and secure” so don’t let any spray tan toting authoritarian stop you!

Gotta love the conspiracy that still can’t deny the tangible threat while whining about policies to keep people safe. Oh, also providing 0 alternatives, so there’s no true insight.
I happen to fully agree with Mr. Marshall, but as I read some of the responses, I find that Our City of Greensboro has a vast number of Liberals who believe what the Government and its officials say about anything. Being part of the “Sheep Society” shows just how dangerous the situation in this country has gotten. Al the current happenings (riots, arsons, destruction of property, murders, rapes, taking down monuments) all has to do with the Lefts program to overturn and overwhelm our government, and then Violently overthrow the Government. The creation of separate states with in states is the first phase in this plan. If Liberals and others would just do the research into these leftist groups, particularly its leadership, they will see what is really happening. This Virus situation and the rioting and disrupting of law and order and peace in our communities are all part of the general plan. Look to history (it always repeats itself) and learn about what is happening today. Make up your own mind and don’t accept what the main stream media is telling you (They are a tool of the Liberal Left). Get educated in current affairs.
