With the stock market falling and the state of the world as it is today, people can use a good laugh and that’s exactly what they’re promised to get if they attend the nationally-touring comedy show – “The Funny Godmothers.”

The two female comedians are bringing their brand of humor to the High Point Theatre’s stage on Saturday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m.

Karen Morgan and Tara Brown have been featured on numerous shows, and the performance is described as a “highly engaging show that is sure to leave attendees ‘happily ever laughter.’

Morgan is a former trial attorney who began her career as a finalist on the Nickelodeon TV show ‘Search for the Funniest Mom in America’ and she can now be heard on Sirius XM Radio.

Her comedy shows, which are described as “clean,” have made her very popular with theater audiences nationwide.

Brown is also widely known for her clean and family-friendly comedy. Her act has been highlighted on national and local television and radio. She most recently won Jeanne Robertson’s Comedy with Class Humor Competition and she’s also the co-host of the Preachers’ Kids podcast.

“Karen Morgan and Tara Brown are two very funny ladies,” said David Briggs, the director of the High Point Theatre. “I’ve seen each of their work, and it’s fun, clean and so right on! I look forward to having everyone come to enjoy and laugh with us on Saturday, March 25!”
