On Tuesday morning, Jan. 23, Guilford County Sheriff’s deputies responded to gunshots heard on Glenville Drive in Whitsett and found a 70-year-old woman had been shot.

On Friday, Jan. 26, two people were charged with shooting crimes – 20-year-old Cameron Drake Booker and 23-year-old Cedric Lee Jr – and, on Wednesday, Jan. 31, the Sheriff’s Department announced that a third suspect, 19-year-old Xavier Vincent Lee (pictured above), had also been charged in the shooting.

All three men now face identical charges: Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and multiple counts of Discharging a Barreled Weapon into an Occupied Dwelling.

During the investigation, deputies discovered bullet holes in vehicles as well as in a home on Glenville Drive.

Xavier Lee was placed in pre-trial custody at the Guilford County Detention Center in Greensboro without a bond.

Cameron Booker and Cedric Lee, on the other hand, were being held in the same facility on a $100,000 bond.

On Wednesday, Jan. 31, Sheriff’s Department Spokesperson Bria Evans said the department was not offering any other information on the incident at this time.

On Jan. 23, deputies arrived at 6612 Glenville Drive and found Deborah Percell, a 70-year-old woman, suffering from a gunshot wound.  She was taken to a local hospital and later released.

Booker, who had driven himself to a hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound, was arrested after an investigation.
