When they built the new baseball stadium in downtown High Point they called it a “multi-use” facility, and between a new soccer team, the High Point Rockers baseball team and now a slate of college baseball games, it will be getting a lot of use in the coming months.
The lineup of over a dozen college games is highlighted by High Point University (HPU) against NC A&T State University, which will take place on Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m.
Also, Greensboro College will play nine regular season “home” games at Truist Point – beginning with the Triad Invitational on March 8.
The Big South Championship will be held at the stadium for the third straight year. Those games will take place from May 23 to May 25.
Guilford Technical Community College will also use the ballpark.
As if that’s not enough, Truist Point will also be hosting some local high school games though those teams and game dates have yet to be announced.
Rockers President Pete Fisch said this week that the Rockers truly value their relationship with HPU and are pleased to have them playing a home game at Truist Point as they have in the past.
The High Point Rockers will play their home opener at the ballpark on Tuesday, April 30 against the Charleston Dirty Birds.
