Detectives from Guilford County were present at the arrest in New Mexico.
According to the report, Morado-DeLuna is currently being held in Albuquerque pending an extradition hearing that will decide if he’ll be sent back to Guilford County for prosecution..
In a March 4 public statement, Guilford County Sheriff Danny Rogers said he wanted to thank the US Marshals Service and the Albuquerque Police Department – as well as other law enforcement agencies that provided assistance and support in the investigation and subsequent arrest.
“The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is committed to working with other law enforcement agencies, both local and federal, to ensure public safety,” Rogers stated Monday. “As demonstrated in this case, the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office continues to partner with other agencies across the United States to investigate, identify, and apprehend those individuals who cause harm to our community.”
According to department detectives, no further information will be released at this time and the investigation “remains ongoing.”

Have you noticed the ethnic identity of the most reprehensible criminals?
If not, I suggest you start paying attention. It’s not guys named Michael or Andrew. But it never was.
You mean like the Las Vegas mass shooter? or the Pulse Night Club mass shooter? or the Sandy Hook mass shooter? or the Parkland mass shooter? How about the guy that shot the kid who knocked on the wrong door? Or the guy who shot into a car of kids because they turned around in his driveway?
Ooooo here in NC, how about Henry Louis Wallace aka The Taco Bell Strangler, Jeffrey Robert MacDonald aka The Green Beret Killer, Gary Michael Hilton aka The National Forest Serial Killer, or Kathy Bonney’s father who killed her and dumped her body in a swamp?
How about the recent story about the Oregon dad who drugged his daughter’s friends (12 year olds) at a sleep over at his home?
Would have to be rather bigoted to judge an entire race or culture of people for the actions of a few wouldn’t it? That is what you and Trump are doing.
But you be you.
No The Michael & Andrews are too busy conducting Mass Shootings! Ever noticed the names & ethnicity of these mass killers!!?? Let’s not forget most serial killers & sociopaths are usually of a certain enthic identity. Talk about reprehensible— Hilter Ring a bell?
Chrissy & Lynn:
Give the devil his due – when white men are evil and decide to act on it, at least they’re much more effective.
It’s not just uncontrolled urges, instincts, and impulses, like animals.
And when white males do commit such acts, the story is prominent and “has legs” for months. The unending chronic criminality of others is barely even reported in the leftist media.
Even Jesse Jackson admitted than when turning to see who was approaching him from behind, he was always relieved when they were white.
Enough said.
Ah. Austin crosses the line from bigotry to racism. Not shocked. Not one bit. (so we are clear, referencing to other races of people as animals, is the red flag for labeling you racist).
There are many crimes committed by people of all colors and most are reported based on how clickable the story is versus the color of person’s skin. (except conservative news sites which seem to have a fetish lately if the color of the skin is brown). Truth is the color of skin doesn’t correlate to crime…economics does.
But you be you.
Poor Chrissy.
He doesn’t understand that racism and bigotry are entirely different concepts, and that the one does not imply the other.
Don’t liberal “consciousness raising” corporate programs insist that everyone is racist? According to Chrissy, that means that everyone is a bigot – including him.
I stand by my opinion of you. The only person I have referred to as a racist as I don’t use that term lightly. But given the nature of your comment, it fits.
