If you live in Guilford County and can’t find a good job right now, well, you’re probably not trying hard enough.
Companies, local governments, restaurants and others are looking under every rock to find hard-working qualified employees, and two giant recent economic development announcements mean the creation of thousands more jobs – from a new Toyota battery manufacturing site and a new Supersonic jet maker.
Those projects and other new ones should bring a massive influx of well-paying jobs in the coming years, but there’s no reason to wait to find gainful employment. This week, Ontex Operations USA, LLC. in Stokesdale, announced that it is holding a third job fair to find the right area employees. The fair will be at Ontex’s Stokesdale Plant at 9300 NC 65 on Saturday, Feb. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Among other things, Ontex makes personal care items such as protective face masks, feminine hygiene products and products used in caring for infants.
Ontex is now hiring for its brand-new manufacturing facility in Stokesdale, which isn’t open yet but will be very soon.
Several types of jobs are available from this international company.
Positions include, but aren’t limited to, “Maintenance Technicians, Machine Operators, Quality Inspectors, Forklift Operators, and more.”
At the fair, the company intends to make job offers on the spot.
The company is hiring for various shifts, so it’s encouraging people to apply no matter what time of the day or night they prefer to work.
If you can’t make it to the fair, you have other options as well. Interested candidates should text the word “diaper” to “85000” or call the company at 336-280-0004.
There is plenty of work and advancement available to people who are willing to get off the Govt teat, and apply themselves for their own betterment.
