Have you seen the man pictured above?

If so, please let the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department know immediately because the officers are looking for him and other authorities have been after him for some time.

On Wednesday, March 6, the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department sent out a picture and rap sheet to area media outlets of 53-year-old Milton Gray Jr., who’s wanted in Guilford County for multiple charges of Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretenses.

Gray allegedly has been using various company names to sell fencing at residents’ homes. After getting a victim to sign a contract, he requests partial payment for the installation up front. That’s the last the customer ever sees or hears of him. In instances highlighted by the department, Gray will then stop returning victims’ phone calls and texts, and the jobs, of course, never get completed.

Gray already has outstanding warrants accusing him of this same type of scam in Guilford County that took place both in 2019 and in 2023.

In addition, he has outstanding warrants from the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, filed in 2017, as well as a warrant issued by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in 2020.

If you see him, definitely don’t buy a fence from him, but definitely do call the authorities. If you have information on Gray’s whereabouts please contact Guilford County Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000 or call 911. Crime Stoppers callers remain anonymous and are eligible for cash rewards for information that leads to his arrest.
