If all this great weather and crisp fall air makes you happy, you’ll probably want to get out to the Bur-Mil Park Fall Fest at 5834 Bur-Mil Club Road on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event is for children and adults alike, and event organizers are promising there will be “something for everyone to enjoy.”

Festival activities include music, inflatables, hayrides, food trucks as well as a wide variety of exhibitors offering unique local products, crafts, and services.

Ivybrook Academy in Greensboro, which practices a “specially designed blended approach curriculum” that encourages kids to be curious, and “honors each child’s interests and individual learning styles” – will be sponsoring The Kid’s Zone at the festival.

That will be a hub of free activities with inflatables, games, crafts and more.

No fall festival is complete without hayrides and this festival is no exception. You’ll be able to take a relaxing ride through the picturesque park, surrounded by the attractive fall foliage that’s really getting pretty this time of year.

“The Fall Fest is a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the season,” said Todd Moore, Bur-Mil Park Supervisor. “Whether you’re looking for a family outing or a day of fun with friends, this event offers something for everyone.”
