The North Wilkesboro Police Department posted the following on Facebook: “Suspects are in custody for the murder of a Greensboro Police Officer tonight after being arrested in Winston-Salem.”
RIP, officer. Beyond that, words fail me.
How awful. May God comfort his family & peers.
Sadly, thos will continue until swift justice is brought back. Folks didn’t hear of this sort of thing nearly as often when there were public hangings the next morning. Heck, back then they didn’t have video evidence. Soooo, what are we waiting for? You have eyewitness accounts and video to prove who did what, yet these MFrs likely won’t see a trial for YEARS in Guilford County. Mea while we pay to feed & clothe them, pay for their medical expenses & education, etc. Once they’re convicted our pansy a$$ judges will give them a life sentence so we can continue to pay their way through several appeals and feed them for eternity. I’ll donate three bullets, or you could line them all up & save two. The City has backhoes & the county has a graveyard for prisoners. I’ll dig the plots on my own land if the judge will take care of it this week! I might even toss in some lime. Our justice system is a woke joke!
One more reason we MUST vote in 2024. Get these clowns out & start making some real changes.
I’m really saddened by this story. My prayers are with the family. Society has fostered this thug attitude, we give out freebies because certain individuals don’t want to work and feel entitled to what others work for. It’s time for some old fashioned frontier justice. Short trial, rope and a tree. No jail or life in prison. This is just like the open border problem that the current administration has allowed to exist. It’s time to end that disaster also.
Hate like yours is what fosters a Thug attitude in this country.
You’re not worth my time
LOL, yet you replied. LOL
Not with the names I thought about but I didn’t want to get down to your level. Read Just Saying post, I’ll help him
Chris while you hold the thugs heads and pat their hands and express your liberal views about how hard their lives have been because of White privilege and how sorry you are for them, I have only one thing for you. I hope and pray that you have nightmares every night about this officer and his family and the life they will NEVER have because of the THUGS you are so proud of. Sleep well
No Chris, gratuitous violence comes naturally to some. We are diverse, which means different.
Some people are, to put it concisely, Stupid, Selfish, and Violent.
Look at the people who did this.
Chris, you’ve got a mental problem. Maybe it will be one of your family members next.
This is a tragic event. A senseless murder of one of Greensboro’s finest. This officer saw a crime in progress and attempted to stop it. The officer died as a result of trying to protect and serve. This is the kind of risks that officers take every day and we all should be grateful for their service.
This is tragic. Our officer was doing his job, and was killed for it. The men and women of the GPD endanger themselves on the job every day. The deserve the respect and support of all of us. We need more of them in the GPD, now.
RIP my Brother in Blue
Guns , smh. Another life lost due to a firearm
Liberal Logic at its finest. Firearms don’t kill people. People do. The same goes for clubs, bats, batons, knives, shurikens, heavy blunt objects, cars, trucks, vans, SUV’s & anything else that a PERSON has to manually control.
IF the law prevented gun ownership, this would still happen & could have likely been worse. Why would someone who breaks the law give a damn what the law says? This thinking only puts guns in the hands of thugs and cripples the law abiding citizens. Furthermore, how are the citizens supposed to fend of tyranny should the need arise?
It wasn’t a legal firearm dumbass. The criminals rarely have a legally obtained firearm.
There is something seriously, seriously wrong with the Black population. Society cannot fix the problem, affirmative action will not fix the problem, crying racism by Blacks will not fix the problem, electing a Black president will not fix the problem, hating White people will not fix the problem, MWBE will not fix the problem. It is much easier to blame White people and racism for Blacks’ failures. Blacks cry equal justice while disregarding the rule of law. Blacks may be elected to political office. Blacks may attend through affirmative action UNC-Chapel Hill or other such institutions, but until the Black population remedies the systemic problems within their own group, the problems will remain. Blacks have been given so many opportunities that they have squandered. There is no pain felt for those who refuse to help themselves, and to continue to blame others for their failures. My heart aches for the police officer’s family.
Term Limits, I am 100% in agreement with you. Nothing else needs to be said. Please read this chris then read it again. Thank you Term Limits. God Bless Officer Nix and all of those who wear the badge
Senseless crimes. This is horrible. Rest in heaven officer. My condolences to the family and loved ones.
When are criminal guns charges going to be added to the indictments? The Dem politicians hold meetings to ban guns but then don’t apply current laws.
