In November 2022, the city implemented fines for leaving garbage or recycling bins on the street for more than 48 hours. According to the city press release, residents can be fined $25 for placing their garbage or recycling bins on the street prior to 7 a.m. the day before collection. So, residents who normally have Monday collection and take their garbage and recycling bins to the street on Sunday evening could be fined.
