Bee Safe Storage and Wine Cellars is celebrating the opening of its newest location with a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Bee Safe is headquartered in Greensboro and is a subsidiary of The Carroll Companies, a leading luxury real estate development firm that also owns the Rhino Times.
While some businesses have slowed down due to COVID-19, Bee Safe continues to open new locations across the South.
The first Bee Safe opened in 2013 in Greensboro at 1016 Battleground Ave. Roy Carroll, the founder and CEO of The Carroll Companies, recently announced that the first Bee Safe would also be the location of the first Car Caves facility, which Carroll describes as kind of a “car country club,” a place for car collectors to not only store their vehicles but also interact with other like-minded individuals.
Currently, the 31 Bee Safe premier self-storage facilities built or under construction are located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Montana and Florida.
The newest location is at 1405 North I-35 in Round Rock, Texas, which is just outside of Austin.
In honor of the opening of this new facility, Bee Safe will be making one child’s wish come true through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The new Bee Safe in Round Rock is a 100,000-square-foot luxury self-storage facility with 28 wine storage units and over 800 climate controlled storage units ranging in size from 5 feet by 5 feet to 10 feet by 25 feet. And like other Bee Safe facilities, it is constructed to look like an office building rather than a storage facility. Bee Safe storage facilities are also equipped with a unique generator backup cooling system to ensure the wine cellar units always stay at the proper temperature and humidity.
The Carroll Companies, founded by Roy Carroll in 1983, is committed to surpassing industry expectations by providing innovative, cost effective developments and services. It specializes in land development, construction, ownership, management and publications, with an estimated value of over $2.8 billion.
