From Rhino Times Reader Alan Marshall

During the big(?) “No Kings” geriatric parades across the country which, for the most part, were peaceful there were a few brainless hiccups. The most reported one was the teacher that was filmed pantomiming her version of the moment Charlie Kirk was assassinated during his rally. If she hasn’t been fired, she needs to be. And if she was/is, you can bet she’s going to be screaming they violated her First Amendment rights.

WRONG!!!

Nobody told her she couldn’t do or say what she did. If they did, then they would have been violating her rights. IF she got fired, and I believe she should be, it was because of the position she holds and her responsibilities for presenting an example for other people’s children, I think it’s safe to say more than a few of those parents were not happy seeing her doing what she was doing and the message she was sending. It’s not against the law to scream “FIRE” in a crowded theater. It’s against the law to create a panic situation where people can be hurt or killed.

Unfortunately, public schools and the people running them are, to some extent, picking and choosing what they are teaching our children, and one thing they fail to point out is that with rights come responsibilities.

If she was fired and starts screaming about a violation of her free speech it tells me she is not as educated as she may claim to be. She has rights, no argument there, but parents have rights as well. Were one of my children in her class, I would be getting them out of her den of indoctrination and organizing other parents to get her teaching license revoked. But hey, I’m just a guy who believes people need to be held responsible for their actions and words, especially people in positions like hers.

Carpe Diem
