School Board Candidate Demetria Carter Is A Seasoned Leader

This letter is in reference to Demetria Carter, at-large candidate for Guilford County Board of Education.
I have the good fortune to have worked with Demetria over the past year and can say, unequivocally, that she will be an asset to the Board of Education. She is highly intelligent, with a no-nonsense, direct communication style necessary for this job. Her 40-plus years of experience in federal administrations will give us a seasoned leader, practiced at big picture success.

Making The City More Treacherous
Dear Editor,
Could this actually be true?
Another shooting involving black juveniles, marijuana, stolen firearms, and on the grounds of a school house! Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan don’t dare try to police our city out of crime! As you have said and demonstrated so many times before: Enforcing laws, getting guns off the streets, getting stolen guns off the streets, getting criminals off the streets, getting drugs off the streets, and making law enforcement visible on our streets could not possibly contribute to making our city and it’s citizen’s safer?
Is there anything you could do to make our city more treacherous?
