End Of Title 42 Means Open Borders
Dear Editor,
Title 42, the federal guidelines that were supposed to control illegal immigration, is due to expire very soon, if it hasn’t already. This means something like 12,000 illegal aliens a day will be crossing the southern border with little to no control. Twelve thousand a day! How long before the same applies to all of our borders? How long before people realize they don’t have to wait years to get American citizenship when all they have to do is enter through Mexico?
Folks, if and when this happens we can say this country, a country that millions have fought and dies for since its inception, a country that has been built from the ground up with the sweat and blood of millions since its inception, a country that has literally saved the world multiple times, will have finally been flushed down the toilet by leftist/socialist/communist/liberal tree hugging parasites that make up the minority of this great country.
And before anyone tries to say that Title 42 was in place under President Trump so he is just as responsible for lying through their teeth. Under Trump Title 42 was working, albeit not as effectively as it could, but only because it hadn’t been in place that long. But it was beginning to have a serious effect and given more time and assets, would have had a serious effect on illegal immigration.
I have no problem with legal immigration and the people that follow the rules to enter this country. I have no problem with allowing people like the Ukrainian refugees that are fleeing the war. The majority are looking for someplace safe to stay until they can go home, like those that did during WWII. I welcome and support them 100 percent. Non-productive human parasites are a different matter altogether.
I already hear the ugly things and names being said about me and really don’t care. I’m too damn old to care. Twenty years of that time was spent serving in parachute infantry and special operations defending the rights of everyone, legal and illegal alike and proud of it.
Thank you, Biden. Thanks for destroying it all with the stroke of a pen on day one of your rule. You and the useless individual calling herself vice-president and the “people” I listed earlier that have the audacity to call themselves Americans.

Immigration has been a growing issue for some time….yes even under Trump (Except for the covid lull) Percent of US population from immigration has been increasing for the last ten years. Since Alan pointed out tree hugging, the destabilizing climate change is a contributing factor to unrest in South America pushing people north. Unstable governments such as Argentina have also increased the wave of people coming north. And lastly, the economic crisis from the pandemic has caused a surge in people coming north.
Title 42 was a health mandate that is no longer valid. If republicans are so afraid of immigration, propose a real solution in the form of real legislation and work across the isle to build a real solution…..not some wall they promised Mexico would pay for that is just as ineffective as the fences G.W. put up.
Stop the name calling a propose a real solution Alan. Or are you too busy hiding in your basement from immigrants?

As I’ve told you time and again, I have no problem with immigrants. I, like other Republicans/conservatives, do have a problem with illegal immigrants and illegal aliens. And just to make sure you can comprehend (that means understand) the key word there is “illegal”
Look at it this way, as a close friend has told me, down here there are Yankees and Damn Yankees. Yankees come south to visit then go home. Damn Yankees come south and stay.
Hate to point out but today it IS legal to declare Asylum even if caught crossing the boarder illegally.
You think families send their kids alone across the boarder because they are greedy? You think people risk their life to cross the dessert because they want better health care? No. They fleeing hunger, violence, and economic disasters. I do think we need to be more aggressive in controlling the number allowed in declaring asylum but a little compassion versus fear mongering is what a better Christian would do.
Locking them in cages or just tossing them back into cartel controlled Mexico is not the answer. Many should be treated a refugees and resettled. Not necessarily just here in the US.
We need real reform. A quota model, improved relations with countries struggling in South America and better/faster legal resources to close the loophole on our asylum process. But instead republicans only want to use the border crisis as a political talking point. Just like the democrats did in 2020.

The common historic enemy of the international Left has always been the United States of America. Now that the hard Left is in complete control here – the White House, the House of Representatives, and the Senate – they are wasting no time in the destruction of the US. Mass illegal immigration is just one of their tools.

I thought you were this great economics expert in addition to your expertise on public health? Clearly, even an authoritarian such as Trump did not have direct control over the price of oil. The truth was (and Trump as ignorant of) that OPEC as over producing oil to drop the price to a point that US fracking from no longer sustainable. It worked. And Trump let them do it.
The US became energy independent as a result of the Trump administration’s policies. Fact.
And gasoline in this area was $1.799/gallon at the time of the 2020 election. Fact.
Right, we got priced out of the market so places like ND shut down fracking operations and all the oil money left many small business owners hanging. Trump was too ignorant to understand that once we were priced out, OPEC dropped production again and boom. Prices came up. Then the economic stability changed due to covid and then again during post covid and now a war in Europe.
Tell me how Trump would have addressed those challenges.

It seems that way to me too. At least back in the 1990s, the Clintons wanted to rule over a thriving country. But the ruling class today seems to be following Mao’s modus operandi of creating as much chaos and divisiveness as possible, the better to rule.
