No Easter Greetings In London

On this Good Friday, as Christians everywhere celebrate Easter, the lord mayor of London, a Mister Sadiq Khan, has facilitated illuminated street lights that are suspended above the major shopping streets between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester square.
They say, “Happy Ramadan.”

Regarding Allah be derived from a moon god, it may well be since the very tribal nature of the ancient populations of the Arabian probably had various gods being considered preeminent.
Allah was originally an obscure Arabian pagan storm god that Mohammad took to be the one true god for his moslem religion, a religion he pushed through violence and subjugation.

The display is funded by the Aziz Foundation. Mr Misinformation wouldn’t bother to point that out so others mistake his point to imply the mayor had more to do with the display than is actually true. Pretty good trick.
Why didn’t the Christians make a big Easter display? Why would it even matter? Is your faith only validated by public display? Kinda silly to get bent out of shape about whose religion put up the biggest display.

I have to wonder why “Happy Ramadan?”. It doesn’t seem to be a festive or joyous occasion, but somber. Imagine for 30 days you can only eat and drink when the sun is below the horizon. And that includes NO water. I believe the more appropriate greeting or wish would be “Blessed Ramadan”. I wonder who selected the wording?
Anybody can Google that foundation and see that it is listed for British Muslims. Wonder where that’s going? No tricks needed.
The best way to support Easter here is to by a dozen or more Trump Bibles. Nothing says Easter more than a Trump Bible.
That is why our founders wanted to keep church and state separate. No mayor of any city should be using taxpayer dollars to promote the establishment or beliefs of any religion. Count me a Christian but do not use anybody’s dollars to promote my religion.

On a personal level, I narrowly escaped being stabbed to death by a muslim, because I would have been unable to recite a specific verse from the Koran during the Borough Market attack a few years ago. My brother and I were shopping the among stalls exactly 24 hours before the attack, which killed a dozen or so innocent people, and horribly mutilated others.
So don’t talk to me about “The Religion of Peace”.
Most of my Muslim coworker and friends will tell you that the Ummah does really exist today within Muslim communities. Quick google search confirms what you are talking about doesn’t really exist as an obligation anymore.
You speak about Muslims as if there aren’t extremists with all religions and are trying to frame. Are you living in make believe land where Christian extremists don’t threaten and use violence? Christian Nationalism movement for example. They tend to be behind the majority of threats of violence against election officials for example as they are at the heart of the MAGA movement. Don’t judge a group of people by their extremists…it makes you look ignorant and bigoted.

Easter is celebrated this year on May 5th for the Eastern Orthodox Church, so Easter was not celebrated everywhere on April 31.

Just goes to show the hugh chasm that now and forever divides faiths. Throughout history one or another has ruled roughshod over civilization. At this time Islam does indeed seem to become the supreme ruler of most of the world within the next 100 years. I fear it will be a brutal life. At least the above citizens are only vocalizing this fact.
