Chinese Appeasement Continues
Dear Editor,
As I write this, the Chinese “spy balloon” is hovering over our state of North Carolina. “Our” federal government has appeased the Chinese dictatorship for far too long.
When China caused the Tiananmen Massacre our government did not stand up to China.
The feds did nothing after China shot down a satellite.
China took Tibet and wants to take Taiwan. I could go on, but why bother. It is time for government of the United States to stand up to the Chinese dictatorship, but I think that the appeasement will continue.

Are you proposing war with China? Cut them off economically (problematic given our deeply is integrated supply chains)?
The current administration is actually taking real action by cutting off chip supply chains but with the US and EU. Will take a long time to unravel our economies but at least the current administration is taking a good first step.
At least more effective than a trade war with tariffs that have to be paid by us the consumers.
The only thing republicans have to get upset about head of the State of the Union, given the positive economic news that came out this week (record low unemployment), is a balloon. What they are really upset about is that the Biden Administration didn’t shoot a bus sized object overtop of civilians and risk their lives so they could have something really stupid to be upset about with Biden.
But I am sure they will be able to yell from the roof tops about some guys dressed up (fully clothed mind you) in over-the-top women clothes, wigs and make-up. Oh no!!!! The horror!!! Run for the Hills!!!!

* If you believe this administration can take credit for “positive economic news”, you are an idiot. The economy lost over a million jobs in January, but the Leftist Deep State adjusted it into a “gain” of 517,000.
* If you believe that shooting down a balloon over Montana in any way risked the lives of civilians, you are an idiot. Montana is 3 times the area f England, with barely a million people (England = 46,000,000).

No conspiracy theory buddy. Look up the true numbers for the January job report and you can read with your own eyes that the US economy LOST 2.5 MILLION JOBS. Fact.

Correction: the population of England is now about 56 million. It was about 46 million when I left, 39 years ago.
As I check the price tag on my eggs, a gallon of gas, pretty much anything, I beg to differ dude. There is plenty to be mad about.
Concering the balloon, that was released from our enemy China carring a unknow payload that could be used for electronic surveillance, photos of military base’s and so on. But the biggest issue is the payload could have been a nuclear device or other weapon such as a biological weapon. That could have been released at china’s will. This balloon was under surveillance before it arrived at our borders and should haven been shot down over the Pacific for are security. But liberals are unable to think out side of the box. The media had no comment concering security risk, but attacked trump who allowed three balloon’sTo cross our nation. That has been determend to be a out right lie. If it did happen that does not release president Biden the responsibility to protect our Nation. We have a inept president and administration.
Absolutely right, David! This balloon appeared over our country just days after a senior US military official predicted that we will be at war with China by 2025.
It could easily have been a pre-emptive attack on our people and/or our military facilities – just like Pearl Harbor.
But the Biden’s have been bought by the Chinese Communists and dare not do anything that might infuriate them.
Not too long ago that was a capital offence called treason.
