Balloon Clubs Beware, Biden Is Coming For You

Isn’t it amazing the level of overreaction this administration can achieve?
Before I go further and to respond to the expected screaming and insults, I realize mistakes can and have been made by others. But let’s be real. Shooting down a balloon club’s balloon without trying to confirm the nature and status of the target is, to say the least, beyond stupid. This is yet another act of overreaction by this administration and their lack of thinking things out.
I am referring to the downing of a balloon belonging to that subversive organization, the Northern Illinois Bottle Cap Balloon Brigade, an amateur balloon organization. In fact, according to Aviation Week, “descriptions of all three unidentified objects shot down Feb. 10-12 match the shapes, altitudes and payloads of the small pico balloons.” By the way, those missiles cost $400,000 each.
They even had the FBI interrogating the balloon club.
Has it come to this?
Anticipate there to be some sort of legislation (sponsored by Democrats) to require balloon clubs to be registered and controlled by the federal government (obviously for a price) and all the red tape and creation of a new federally funded position like a balloon czar. Expect there to be mandatory balloon registration. I also expect some government mouthpiece to step up and set federal balloon standards.
Folks, if anybody doesn’t think this administration and the doddering individual at the head of it needs to be allowed to continue in this way, then it’s too late for us.
What’s next, registration and licensing for model airplanes and drones?
Whoever runs against this man and doesn’t use this kind of overactive thinking and the orders given without thinking it through, obviously doesn’t want to win.
In the meantime, only God can help this country until the next election.

What a joke.
So if they are REQUIRED to register, why did they have to scramble NORAD to shoot them down and not check their records first? And don’t try to say that would have taken too much time.
Because republicans got all bent out of shape with the last balloon so just trying to appease the idiots.
On more serious note, NORAD refined it models to better ‘see’ objects of this nature. Will take some time to establish the appropriate protocols to better handle going forward. until then it is great practice for the air force to shoot down a live target.
But you can rant away with your lack of any real understanding of the complexities of the world so you can get your silly jabs in. But glad I was able to educate you just a bit on the subject of air space management by the US government.

Yeah – so as not to look weak, again.
I saw that the pilots who shot down the amateur balloons said that they were going too fast, when they made the
fly-bys, to determine what the balloons were. Those balloons were reported to be at about 20,000 feet. The military has many small prop-jets that could easily have gone up and made a slow circle pass around the balloons, determined what they actually were and taken video. No need to send a fighter jet and waste $400,000 missiles, which we may soon need to defend our homeland.
In addition to the Biden administration, we obviously have military “leaders” who are also stupid.
Is this the same Alan Marshall that was complaining a few weeks ago of the administration not protecting us from another balloon?
