Warning! You’re right concerning your being able to bear arms is under attack in N.C.
“On June 23, North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) instructors received a memo announcing changes which will make it harder for CHP applicants to receive required training. Although the NC Criminal Justice Standards Division, which reports to Attorney General Josh Stein, is holding a token public meeting on August 9, the memo stated the changes are already drawn up without public comment as required by N.C.G.S. 150B-21.2, saying: “These changes will take effect on October 1, 2023. Below is a summary of the changes that are being made by the Commission…””
Herr (AG) Stein has put forth a proposal that “…would require an auditable list of concealed handgun students to be maintained by instructors, creating a defacto gun owner registration system.”
A de facto registration system. I also found this in the article, which I cannot confirm, but given the (National Socialist) Democrat Party modus operandi I wouldn’t doubt: “Anyone who thinks that won’t be abused is naïve, as evidenced by Joe Biden’s ATF, under which inspectors are now photographing FFL’s bound books of Form 4473s to grow the illegal gun registry ATF is creating.”
They can’t get the gun registry they want because of the 2nd Amendment, so instead they will go after the people who are exercising their rights under said Amendment by registering potential and existing gun owners. This more than ever shows to what extent the (NS)DP will go to in order to take away our God given rights and turn them into privileges they will hand out to those who will bend a knee to them.
Additionally, like the US Constitution, the NC Constitution guarantees the right to keep and bear arms under Article1, Section 30 of said state Constitution.
Even if/when this (National Socialist) Democrat attempt to challenge our rights gets to the legislature it undoubtedly will be shot down (I hope), but will still be lurking in the wings, waiting.
More than ever we need someone like Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson as governor. A governor who cares about the state and has common sense, someone who cares about what is right, not what is popular or directed by the party, someone who cares about the people of North Carolina, R and D alike. That someone is Mark Robinson.

Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is a hypocrite that says “abortion “murder,” a “moral evil, like slavery,” and asserted that once a woman is pregnant “it’s not [her] body anymore.” Of course, he didn’t say these things when he found it convenient to pay for his then girlfriend to have an abortion when HE found fatherhood inconvenient.
He also doesn’t care about all people of NC. He clearly hates the LGBTQ people of our community. He once stated “unlike maggots and cow dung, homosexuality serves no purpose”.
He clearly doesn’t support women’s rights given his strong fundamentalism belief that “Christians are called to be led by men.” Not to mention his denial of women rights to make their own choices about their bodies.
He is a hateful man hiding behind religion as he makes judgement over others…

Anyone having any trouble renewing their CHP on the County website?
I renewed mine recently on line and within a few weeks received an email telling me it had been approved (like THEY need to AUTHORIZE me to carry a weapon…it’s called the 2nd Amendment) and I would receive their written blessing within 3 weeks

In this country we the people are sovereign, not our public servants.
They certainly don’t have the prerogative to deprive us of our natural right to self-defence.
They’ve become very presumptuous and overbearing in the last couple of decades.
They need to be reminded of their place.
Our NC Attorney General Josh Stein is worthless and should not be Attorney General much less even considered to be a Governor of NC. Contacted Josh Stein about the hanky-panky happening right here in Greensboro, NC where two off duty Greensboro Police Officers reportedly robbed a drug dealer? What a perfect crime it could of been as a drug dealer is not going to report his illegal proceeds as being stolen! Unfortunately, the two Greensboro Police Officers involved were not smart enough to collaborate on their stories! Apparently, all documentation of this crime has disappeared. One officer resigned and I understand the other one is still employed? Meanwhile, no criminal charges have been filed? Just a legitimate question for a Citizen to ask of its City Leaders and State Attorney General! These people express no obligation to serve the law abiding citizens of our City and State! They all need to go! My preference for them would be to go to jail!

As a libertarian I am continually amazed that some people are evil and crave control over others. But they do, and even more worrisomely, there is a tendency in a lot of ordinary people to join the authoritarians, just as the weak children would clamor to support the schoolyard bully. This is the mindset of the Leftist. The Leftist is a sheep who worships power. Because of his insecurities he is unable to stand up to it, so he rallies to it and immerses himself in it. That’s why Leftism is a cult. Benign liberalism always becomes draconian Stalinism, as the Webbs learned to their dismay.
Their naivete lives on, as millions clamor to disarm the citizenry.
These sheep will be shocked when they realise they have become serfs.
The Founding Fathers bequeathed us the Constitutional right to possess arms not so that we may hunt, or go to the range. It was so we can overthrow our government, if need arises. And THAT is why the Left seeks to take away our guns. We represent a threat to their complete control over us.

Yet it is the conservative party that wants to control what you can read, what kind of medical care you can receive, who you love and marry, etc… The democrats aren’t much better (they push public health behavior, public education curriculum, and demand equal treatment for all…even those that creep out the conservatives.) but that IS the nature of power…control. Saying one party wants it more than the other is just silly and used to push your own agenda of wanting to control others.
