The Sheriff’s Office does not see this as a wider threat to the community. In a statement on Wednesday, the department classified it as ”an isolated incident” and conveyed that “there is no immediate threat to the community.”
Sheriff’s officials also noted that this is an active and ongoing investigation and stated that therefore no further information will be made available at this time.
Investigators are seeking help from anyone in the community with knowledge regarding the incident. English at 336-641-2570 or, alternatively, call Guilford County Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000, where you can remain anonymous.

My thoughts and prayers go out to this juvenile’s family. However, I’m not understanding how there’s no threat to the community, yet you don’t have a suspect and looking for answers from the community. It doesn’t make any sense!
Too many guns in the US. Less likelihood of death if less access to this violent weapon. Not everyone has self control, thus limits on availability and stringent requirements should be enforced. A 15 year old sweetheart dogsitter is gone because some whackjob was able toget his/her hands on a gun. Blessings on America and a more Peaceful untroubled future for everyone. Hope they catch the bad person who ended the life of this young teenage girl.
