Liberals believe that “meat is murder” but that abortion is just fine. That’s mentally ill. They believe that millions of Middle-Eastern Muslim illegal immigrants should be let into America. They believe that Obama doubling the national debt in his eight years is no problem, when it is de facto shameless child abuse. They believe it is good and right to let sexual deviants into our daughters’ shower rooms. They believe that homosexual marriage is a right, not a sick perversion of a sacred covenant – and a contradiction in terms. They believe that an extravagant spasm of spending on the public sector is a stimulus, but that an actual economic stimulus of tax cuts is just a give-away to the rich. As far as Trudy Wade fighting for teachers to get a 15 percent raise, who is she fighting? Who was trying to stop it? The only people trying to stop it were the Republicans, her group. The only reason that there was any kind of a raise for our teachers is because of public pressure. And because our teachers were leaving. She didn’t fight for anything. And if you really want to know the truth, you seek out a teacher, and you talk to these teachers, and you ask these teachers, did you get a 15 percent raise? You’re probably not going to hear the answer yes. Because I know somebody that works on the school board, and I also know somebody that works in the school system. They don’t know anyone who got a 15 percent raise.

I’m calling about the DSS employees getting food stamps asked to fess up story that was in the paper on Oct. 6. A lot of these employees are getting food stamps because they are single parents with several children that don’t make anything under $30,000 or $30,000, a little bit above. So, they are getting food stamps for that reason. Ms. Skeens, the director of Health and Human Services, is just trying to be noisy to pinpoint these people so she can see if they really need food stamps or not.

The only person that seems to be looking into this is Ms. Carolyn Coleman. None of the other commissioners seem to care. Ms. Coleman seems to be taking up for us, and asking questions of what this means that employees are having to fess up to who is receiving food stamps. Of course, it is all in the system, but there are so many people that work for the county. It seems Ms. Skeens just wants to be nosy and have employees directly sent to her who are receiving these food stamps so she can sit there and monitor and see how much they’re receiving. We are not making over $100,000.

You know what they need to do? This might sound kind of sci-fi, but I know it’s out there. They should have on the policeman’s guns a detector that detects their fingerprint and it will not engage unless that fingerprint matches what’s assigned to the weapon. Believe it or not, this device actually does exist. It’s not that expensive, and it can be mounted on about any handgun or rifle created. Basically it’s a lock and unlock at the end of your finger. Another thing is, you know what? There is so many cops in North Carolina seem to be getting in trouble with guns, and across America. What they need to do is, they need to make it mandatory that when a cop pulls a weapon, he pulls a Taser gun first unless he is fired on. Then he can pull his weapon. And if he’s not fired on, his weapon should be locked in with a lock where he can’t yank it out.

They’re not worth what they were getting most of the time. They raised water rates 4.5 percent. The car fees, which is another way of saying tax, went up 200 percent, up to $30 from $10. And people should be reminded of that. These bond issues they want passed, they shouldn’t pass them. They’re giving all the money away to the museum up there. We don’t have money to give away to everybody else too. Keep raising up our fees, which is nothing but taxes. That’s not exactly a good thing. I’m on a fixed income as a whole lot of people here are. Yes, some years ago my wife and I went to Mexico, and we visited Mexico City and we were down near the cathedral. We noticed a group of women who were protesting being raped and sexually assaulted in the plaza. We also noticed behind the building from our vantage point that we could see a group of men assembling, coming out of a government building in civilian clothes. They actually were members of the army. They were sent out into that plaza to disrupt that peaceful assembly by these women. And they intimidated them. The rest of the world is laughing at us because of our failed political system. Our election process is rigged so that sensible candidates like Gov.
