The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a juvenile following a reported shooting Monday afternoon in Reidsville.
According to Guilford County Sheriff Danny Rogers, deputies responded at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Monday, May 25, to a residence on US Highway 29 in Reidsville after receiving a report of a gunshot wound.
When deputies arrived, they found a juvenile suffering from what authorities described as an apparent gunshot wound. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Authorities said the next-of-kin has been notified.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Sheriff’s Office stated that no further information will be released at this time.

Why is the Guilford County Sheriff investigating an incident in Reidsville?
Austin that is confusing but some of Reidsville’s addresses are in Guilford County. One of my Harley buddies lives within 1/4 mile of where the shooting happened but he has a Reidsville address but lives in Guilford County. Going that way now for a few cold ones. Cheers
