It’s 24 hours since the election since the polls closed. I cannot believe that BJ Barnes lost to a person who is relatively almost completely unknown in the Piedmont. We’ve never heard of him before the election. What I have learned is that he has a spotty and questionable employment record and questionable ethics. And he did no advertising. How did he beat our beloved sheriff who is always ethical and fair? And everybody likes him as far as I know. If I were BJ Barnes, I think I would be questioning the integrity of the vote. And I would say the same thing to Trudy Wade. I would be questioning the integrity of the vote, although Trudy has made some unpopular decisions. She has the courage of her convictions, and I applaud her for that. Thank you.

You know what, I can’t believe Troy Lawson had that many low votes. You know, people running for soil and water had more votes than Troy Lawson did. I just can’t believe his count was that low. Now, Clark Porter really kicked behind on his race. He did good. He did really good. But I just can’t get over why Troy Lawson’s votes were so low. Troy Lawson runs the Republican Party. So that means every Republican in Guilford probably should have voted for him in his district. And I looked up the number of how many Republicans and Democrats there are in that district. I am absolutely incredulous at the flying accusations and criticisms of the president because he asked for the resignation of Jeff Sessions. I have to ask, where have the people been for the last two years? Even though Jeff Sessions has done well considering the opioid crisis and perhaps the criminal aliens, he has been absolutely useless in his position that he was appointed for, to act as attorney general. And why is everybody suddenly acting as if it’s directed at the Mueller investigation? Why don’t the people wake up and remember that that was an illegal investigation brought about by treachery and deceit to begin with. This is absolutely disgusting. Years of investigations of Hillary Clinton over in Benghazi turned up nothing. Nothing on Hillary. Trump got what, five guilty pleas, 30 to 40 indictments against his team and his friends, and it’s just pathetic. And a fool like that can be president of the United States and not understand a thing about government. All of his friends and buddies and acquaintances money laundering. Russians got him elected. I was totally shocked on Wednesday morning when I woke up and saw that BJ Barnes has been defeated in the sheriff’s race. I would have never expected that. I hope that as you inquire more about this and learn more about it, that it’s published that we can better understand why he was not reelected. Although I will say that if a man’s been in office for 24 years, it might be time for a change. But as far as I know BJ was doing a great job. The interactions that I had with his department and with his deputies were always positive. I’m hoping that Danny, I guess it’s Rogers, will do a good job. I heard him speak. He is an articulate man. But I certainly hope he is trying to do the right thing for the community at large and not some select special interest group.

Like most true Republicans, conservative Republicans, I really, really – I really hated that the Republicans have lost control of the House. Although it was kind of expected and predicted. What I really don’t understand is why so many of our Republican congressmen retired at the end of this term. They retired at a time when we’ve got a strong president. We’ve got a president who is trying to get something done. It would have been a great time to continue in Congress and be a part of something bigger than yourself. They could have been part of something that is bigger and best and best for the country. Especially with control over the Senate that the Republicans now have. Hey, I was wondering, when are the candidates going to pick up all these metal trees they planted all over the city? They mostly seem to be Republicans. But it’s amazing. I was coming off of Battleground. I counted 37 BJ Barnes’ signs. And 27 Trudy Wade signs. And I was like, this ain’t even her district. Why are they over here? This is a bunch of Mark Walkers out here and a couple of other ones. But, anyway, can someone that’s reading this kindly, about 2 o’clock in the morning, take their truck and just ride up and down some of these streets in Greensboro and just pick these things up? Because you don’t know how much it cost to have the city pick these things up. Some of the candidates just leave them. Well, the city will come by, road crew or somebody, and pick them up. I still see signs around my house from two year ago.

I’ve called in before. I’m the one that got out of school in the 12th grade, because the 11th graders needed somewhere to sit. So they graduated me and put me out. This bad, horrible thing that happened in California and happened in Las Vegas, Nevada, but this has been going on ever since Cain killed Abel. And it’s not going to stop. You can’t legislate sanity. What we saw in the election there Tuesday night was an absolute disgrace. I couldn’t believe they said many people in America so far out from normal that they would go to the far extreme radical left and vote for these people that they put forth. As I said, if a conservative reporter had treated Barack Hussein Obama like they treated Trump yesterday, three or four different reporters staying on him and questioning him about stuff and would not relent, Acosta should be thrown out of the media. If it had been a conservative, they would have demanded that they’d been fired on the spot. But, yet, it’s a radical leftwing liberals that these CNN and the rest of these news media feed. They feed all this hatred, and then push this radical stuff. I’m afraid we haven’t seen the end of the violence. If you look back at the records, you’ll see in the past that BJ has always had a lot of support from the other side and the middle. Just a short comment on the rental bicycles and the rental scooters in town. I think when the city does its fact finding that they need to make sure that these vehicles have proper insurance. On Gate City Boulevard this afternoon, going from west to east, I was running 43 miles an hour. Oh, yes, I was speeding. And a school bus passed me. What’s going on with that? Why are school buses allowed to speed and nobody else is supposed to? Why is a school bus speeding? It’s not safe. And, also, Greensboro city police, if you’re reading this, you could probably write a dozen tickets every morning people flying through the school zone on Guilford College Road at Guilford Elementary. They turn off of Guilford College Road. I go 25 miles an hour. I would love to be able to block two lanes and keep the public safe and keep our school students safe. But I probably would get a ticket for that.
