The horrible shooting in Las Vegas was one of the worst catastrophes in our nation’s history. You know what? I got a son and I got a daughter. My daughter is in junior high, and she’s moving up. OK. She wanted to play professional football at the local school. Here’s the thing about the High Point City Council admonition that there will be no new taxes required in order to pay for the baseball stadium. You have to be careful in dealing with the High Point City Council, because in the last few years they have initiated something known as creative fees. And they levy these instead of taxes. And, then, like to claim that they didn’t raise your taxes or didn’t initiate new taxes. What they did, however, was create new creative fees. They’re still getting your money. They’re just calling it something other than a tax. It is very likely, and highly probable, that there will be some sort of new creative fee put in place within a year in order to pay for the baseball stadium, but it’s not a tax.

Hi, Beep. Just calling to say that social services government was so embarrassing to work with. I worked there for a minimum of 26 years. And when a very close relative of mine passed away, I was sent nothing. I was not asked to donate what was supposed to be given to me to any kind of organization. A plant was not sent to the funeral service. I had to even go ask my supervisor about had she heard about any, a plant, or anything to be sent, or could I send to an organization. In my opinion, every taxi driver, and every cab driver, in the country has a legitimate discrimination lawsuit against their local government when it comes to Uber. And what I mean by that is, every cab driver and taxi driver is compelled and required by law to operate under certain legal qualifications and regulations. Uber is exempt from a lot of these regulations. So, how can you tell one company that they have to comply and spend a lot of extra money complying when you tell another company they’re exempt, and both companies provide the same service? Like I said, every cab driver and taxi driver in the country has a legitimate lawsuit against their local government for allowing Uber to operate with lighter and less-strict regulations than cab drivers and taxi drivers.
