If she is replaced with a remainer, then Brexit will be in jeopardy and the globalsts will have wrested control away from the British people. On voting day I hope everybody – or many people in Greensboro – are going to do better than the primary. Less than 10 percent, way less, showed up, and we missed out on the opportunity to get some new blood on the City Council. Therefore, I hope the weather is raining. I hope people will make the effort today, because we have a lot of issues coming up that need some guidance, such as economic development, and, also, what’s going to happen with the Steven Tangier center. That groundbreaking in 2016, it was supposed to be $65 million. Last print I saw where now one year later, $80 million.

I am very disappointed in most of the pre-election City Council. Several weeks before the election, I wrote all incumbents that I could vote for and asked some very simple questions of each. I wrote Nancy Vaughan, Mike Barber, Yvonne Johnson, Marikay Abuzuaiter and Justin Outling. The only response I received was from Mr. Outling. I appreciate that very much. The other four will not be receiving a vote from me on Nov. 7. I’m sure they don’t care, because they each won in the primary, and will probably win their respective Election Day races with comfortable victories. A city council is the lowest level of government representation a citizen can have, and I can’t even get some questions via email, mind you, answered. Wow. As I said before, I’m very disappointed today.

Yes, I would like to comment about these so-called huge wins by the Democrats the other night. First of all, the seats they won are always occupied by Democrats. So they didn’t pick up anything. But they are a desperate political party who will grab at anything and make something look like it’s there when it isn’t. Anything in their favor, it gives a spark of hope for them these days, because they’re so out in the cold and so dumb it’s not even funny. As for our president, Donald Trump, if he hears the Democrats and the media complain about him and trashing him, he doesn’t worry, because he knows he’s so far above them, it’s not even funny. You see, he’s playing chess and they’re playing checkers. He knows what he’s doing. They’re just playing. So North Carolina is going to expect for the next four years the same bunch of people. I would like to know how many people wrote in for John Brown. And how many people actually really voted. Hey, John. I would like you to, please, take a look at Highway 68 and Leburn that’s across from the new Guilford College out here in the northwest part of the county. This NAI Piedmont Triad, Robbie Perkins’ real estate company, I’m just curious all this dirt being moved out here next to this new 68 bypass area interchange. Is that being done at taxpayers’ expenses, all the dirt, all the heavy equipment, etc.? You need to take a look at that. It doesn’t smell right.

I’ve had a personal health insurance policy for, I don’t know, 15, 20 years now. And every year my premium goes up anywhere from, probably the lowest it’s gone up was $7 during one of the years Obama was in office. And the highest it’s gone up any one year over that time has been maybe $100. Well, I would say thanks to probably more to Donald Trump and his inability to get the things done that need to be getting done for the American people, my insurance premium has gone up $800 a month starting in January. Now who do I have to thank for that?

I was watching on TV these people went out and looked up at the sky and hollered, because it’s the one-year anniversary whenever Clinton got beat. Why they want to do that, I don’t know. But if they get down around Oxford, or somewhere there north of Durham on 85 and go doing that, they’ll carry them up to Camp Butner and lock them up. I know that they got people in Camp Butner that ain’t never going to get out that’s got more sense than people looking at the sky and hollering. And, then, announce it all over. About the Roy Moore scandal. Whatever happened to you’re innocent until proven guilty? Not only that, all these Republicans are calling for him to step down, like McCain. Why don’t McCain step down? Yeah, Steely Dan Fan Man. Somebody called in and asked why baseball players don’t kneel during their games, national anthem, like the football players. And I say it’s because they’re respectable. It’s because they have more respect for the country. And they don’t find it necessary to skip across the field after they make a touchdown – or a homerun, I mean, or make an out at second base like the football players do. They skip down the field like a bunch of little girls, beating on each other, and beating on their chests and all like a bunch of gorillas. And that’s why. That’s your answer right there. I have just received a Nov. 9 issue. And I haven’t gotten through it all, but I must comment on the first few pages. Thus far, I’ve gotten to page 15. A regular county commissioner makes $20,700 a year. So the retired director of emergency services, Commissioner Alan Perdue, added that amount to that regular retirement, and he’s coming out pretty good with little-to-no information shared of his thoughts.

Uber is on the way out. There use is on a big decline. And the reason being, because people are starting to understand and believe that the legal requirements and the legal regulations that they sidestep are in place actually to protect the consumer, which is the customer. The customers realize now that Uber has sacrificed the safety of its passengers to be technologically correct. That’s why they’re on the decline. Thank you very much.
