A new afternoon locally based and highly interactive television talk show is coming to the airways of Guilford County and the surrounding counties.   The show, which premieres on Monday, Dec. 2 on WFMY, will be hosted by popular local weatherman Eric Chilton.

Chilton announced details regarding the show – called “The Four 2 Five” – on his Facebook page this weekend and he stated that he’s thrilled about this opportunity.

“I have seen a lot of changes in my 32-year career,” the long-time local weather prognosticator wrote. “And here comes another chapter that I am VERY EXCITED about. Starting Monday I will help produce and host an hour long show that airs weekdays from 4 to 5 p.m. Actually, that’s the name of the show ‘The Four 2 Five.’ It will be a conversation based show centered around the news of the day and what’s trending.”

Chilton added that the best part is that television viewers will have a great deal of participation. The show will have “live and open conversations” running on Facebook and Twitter in real time when the show is on the air.

Chilton said this week that another reason the new talk show will be a lot of fun is because he’ll be joined by News 2 broadcasters Maddie Gardner and Taheshah Moise.

The first show will be at 4 p.m. on December 2.

Chilton also seems excited that he should now get to sleep in more often.

“Now there will only be ONE 3 on my clock…3 p.m. LOL,” he wrote in his Facebook post.

Chilton is a master of many trades besides the weather and one of his most popular talents is his singing ability. He is the lead singer of the Chill Tones, a very popular and lively beach music band.
