Fortunately, in this case, both victims survived.
According to the Wednesday, July 15 release from the Sheriff’s Department, at about 4:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, officers got a report of shots fired near Oakwood Mobile Home Park at 4200 US 29 N. in Greensboro.
The release goes on to state, “Deputies arrived and located two victims who had been shot. Both victims were transported to a local hospital by EMS and their injuries are currently not believed to be life threatening. On Monday, July 13, 2020, Quanell Peterson (35 years of age) of Greensboro NC was arrested and charged with two felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.”
The release, which was accompanied by a photo of Peterson, who can be seen above, also stated that the investigation is ongoing.
The Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information regarding the mobile home shooting to come forward. They can do so by calling Detective Robertson at 336-641-5969 or by contacting Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000. Sheriff’s officials also reminded the public that all calls to Crime Stoppers are completely anonymous.
Guess the lives of the two black persons he shot don’t matter. Maybe BLM should change to Black Lives Matter Just Not to Other Blacks.
