It’s not very hard to find a good job in the current bustling economy.
However, if you’re still looking for one, there are some great opportunities with a company that has a growing production facility near Stokesdale – a company that’s held a number of large job fairs in the past but is still looking to add more workers.
The international company Ontex makes and sells personal hygiene products. Among other items, it makes baby care, feminine care and adult care products for individual consumers, as well as for stores, institutions and private healthcare providers around the world.
The Ontex facility in Stokesdale is holding a job fair at its Stokesdale plant on Tuesday, Jan. 30 from 9 a.m. to noon, and on Wednesday Jan. 31, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., as well as on Thursday, Feb. 1 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m..
With a wide variety of job fair times over a three-day period, you should have an opportunity to check out the company and its openings and discover if one of them is right for you.
Some of the positions Ontex is currently hiring for include machine operators, quality technicians and maintenance technicians.
Several career opportunities are available for those “interested in growing with an expanding, international company,” according to promotional materials for the job fair.
Ontex intends to hand out offers on the spot for the right candidates.
Even if you’re unable to attend the fair on any of the three days, interested candidates should visit the website www.ontexusajobs.com or send in an email to hr.usa@ontexglobal.com.
The Ontex facility is at 9300 NC 65, Stokesdale, NC.
“- – – – bustling economy – – – ” SERIOUSLY? Never mind thousands of white-collar employees who, while having jobs, are horrendously UNDER-employed. Look at, for example, how many former well-paid home mortgage underwriters and other financial services people have had salaries cut in half or worse. Many in the building industry are hurting and we’re still losing manufacturing jobs to overseas businesses. The media-followed inflation rates do NOT include FOOD or FUEL prices, all of which are still up due to the failed Bidenomics policies. Yeah – it could be worse, but “bustling” – – no way!
People seem to think that the president has a major effect on the economy but in reality most presidents don’t. The reason our economy is the way it is is because of issues affecting the global economy and manufacturers are responding or being proactive Bidenomics hasn’t kicked in yet.
Let’s be honest, it’s the idiots that vote for Democrats & RINOs that push the economy into the crapper. So yes, indirectly, POTUS influences the economy both locally & globally.
America is now known around the globe for being a welfare/nanny/police state. It’s sad to watch her circle the drain with losers, her own citizens, cheering her on. She’s survived many wars, but how will she fair when WWIII & a Civil War break out simultaneously? We may well find out in our lifetime. Be careful who you vote for.
If I were of working age, I’d be out there now. Only thing that would matter would be wages incl bennies, and working conditions. Why do they still need workers? The only way to find out is to check it out.
It is private enterprise that greases the wheels of the Republic, not socialism, not Washington.
Ohh boy…more jobs that pay 1970s wages in a 2024 economy. What’s they pay? $11.50?
