The GreenHill art gallery in downtown Greensboro is gearing up for its “Collector’s Choice Fundraiser” – the event that will kick off this year’s “Winter Show” and the one that the gallery is describing as “the greatest party of the year.”

At that year-end celebration on Saturday evening, Dec. 7, attendees will get a chance to meet and mingle with artists from all over the state.

Those patrons who take part in GreenHill’s Wednesday evening, Dec, 4 “First Choice” event will be able to purchase works from those artists in advance of the public opening.

Each year, the Winter Show at the gallery brings together over 100 artists from across North Carolina and showcases a wide variety of the state’s art. The works on display and on sale include paintings, pieces of sculpture and works of photography as well as other art forms such as ceramics, jewelry and woodwork.

The promoters call the Winter Show that closes out the year “the quintessential showing of art produced by North Carolina artists today.”

Ticket prices and more information about the event can be found at Greenhillnc.org.
