The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office reported that, on Thursday, May 30, at just after 9:20 in the evening, the Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident at 300 Venus Drive in Greensboro.
According to the report, “Upon arrival at the scene, Deputies initiated a homicide investigation after discovering the resident of the address, 59-year-old Todd Allen Arnold, deceased with multiple stab wounds to his torso and other various injuries. Mr. Arnold’s body will undergo examination by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the exact nature and cause of his injuries.”
As a result of the investigation, authorities charged 38-year-old Lauren Ashley Fullerton (pictured above) with 1st Degree Murder, as well as with Felony Cruelty to Animals.
That Cruelty to Animals charge resulted from a dead animal on the property – which was also found during the investigation.
Fullerton has been denied bond until her first appearance in court and she is currently being held in the jail in downtown Greensboro.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, her first appearance is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, May 31.
Law enforcement officials are informing the public that this was an isolated incident and “there are no threats to the community.”
The investigation is ongoing, so the department will be limited in what it reveals.
Anyone who has information related to the case is encouraged to contact Detective J. Allen at 336-641-2799 or call Guilford County Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
That woman looks like a mental case.
She should run for Greensboro City Council
