The Democrats (especially the National Socialists) have completely lost any sense of responsibility for the general welfare of the American people. Watching and listening to what they are doing and saying has convinced me they want to discard the Constitutional Republic and replace it with Socialism/Communism with themselves in charge (We know what’s best for you peasants). You have a wannabe oligarch screaming that anybody who disagrees with him is an oligarch and a closet socialist holding his coat for him. At least the guy running for Mayor in NYC doesn’t try to hide what he is. The rest of the Democrats (including the National Socialists) seem to be taking their marching orders from their Overlords who have brainwashed them into forgetting they owe their positions to We the People, not the likes of the Senate and House Masters. What I’m seeing is they vote as they are being told to by their Puppet Masters not the people who put them there.
Do you want further proof? Please show me five Democrats who will/have publicly condemned Antifa and the other rabid organizations for rioting, burning, destroying property, and attacking LEOs while trying to call it exercising their First Amendment right. When these antisocial animals do (rarely) get arrested they are released almost immediately with little to no consequences.

I am totally against any measure to force ICE and Border Patrol agents to go without masks. Should they wear identifying markings? I tend to think they should. But I also think it should be a FEDERAL law that impersonates an ICE or Border Patrol agent with a mandatory minimum sentence with no parole option, but hey, that’s just me.
Republicans/Conservatives are not completely innocent but they are not advocating, directly or indirectly, the harming of opponents’ family members, vandalizing personal property, or even, as has happened recently, attempted paramilitary action against LEOs.
Let’s pray somehow, some way some modicum of common sense returns to our society, but I am a firm believer in Teddy’s famous quote…walk softly but carry a big stick…my addendum to that is and use it as you need to.

The children born here who have never lived in their parent’s country of origin and were not given any opportunity to be taken in by other family members prior to being detained and deported. Just because you don’t like birth right citizenship doesn’t mean you don’t have to acknowledge that US citizens are being deported.
It is one of the reasons democrats have long supported the idea of forgiveness for those here undocumented but have been paying taxes for over 5 years. I notice you don’t seem upset or denying the administrations habit of detaining legal immigrants which violates the US Constitution you claim to love and support as a conservative. Or do you want names and examples of them as well?
Like I said, if someone was illegally deported, the lawyer will file a legal action that will be won easily. If no legal action is taken, then it would seem the parent was fine with the deportation. The article you cite specifically addresses these points. The parent was legally deported and chose to take their kids with them. The kids were not deported. Fake news.
As for detentions, people get detained all the time and then cut loose. Happens every day in every city by police at the local and federal level. They detain someone suspected of a crime, figure out if a crime occurred and if the person detained was the actual suspect and then either charge them or let them go. In some states, you can even be jailed for a couple days without formal charges being filed. After 48 hours, they either charge you or have to let you go. Not complicated. Not a conspiracy.
And you think it perfectly ok that it even happened in the first place. Typical.

Oh, in the US if police detain citizens illegally, they are open to sizable lawsuits. Would like some examples? Just go watch Audit the Audit videos on youtube. Are you expecting perfection from an imperfect system? I hope not. People make mistakes. The judicial branch exists when the enforcement arm of the government oversteps, makes mistakes, or openly violates the law. Yeah, cops screw up and improperly detain people sometimes. Yeah, the media blows it out of proportion most of the time. Yes, sometimes the cops are absolutely wrong to the point of having to pay in civil court. The system is working like it is supposed to. Neither cops, lawyers, nor judges are perfect and errors will be made, precedents set and other precedents changed over time.

As for the old Audit the Audit, I choose not to get my facts from YouTube, especially not that channel. Those videos are highly edited and usually tell half the story. I am positive there are some videos of cops doing wrong and those cops will face civil and sometimes criminal action. However, most of them are click bait and you get sucked right in and jump on the old cop hating bandwagon. Not surprising.
How many detainments are ok before you get upset. What’s your number? How many people is it ok to ‘kidnap’ of the street without any legal authority before you get upset? How many parents getting separated from their parents in public without any legal due process before you get upset?

Way to link to an article behind a pay wall. I did get to read a portion of it and it seems like you better get your pillow handy. The article stated that they were inspected and found lacking in a few areas and ICE is voluntarily correcting and addressing those issues, including a few improper uses of force. This happens in every law enforcement agency in the country. If a policy is violated or a policy is found to be lacking, changes are made so that performance improves. Again, system working.
There is no number of detainments that would bother me. Detention is an integral part of law enforcement. Everyone that gets arrested gets detained first, then the LEO decides to either arrest or let them go. Sometimes that process takes a few seconds, sometimes it takes a few hours. Illegal detentions en masse would bother me, but I’m not seeing that here. Nor are the courts.
Again, you seem to be seeking perfection from imperfect systems and people. In general, cops and detention officers are people with high school education and about a year of training with pretty mediocre pay. If you want near perfect professionalism, change the system to where detention officers and cops are trained and paid more like doctors and lawyers. Otherwise, continual oversight and addressing issues as they come up is the best that system can manage. But the system, such as it is, works as well as can be expected.

For eight years, Stein was the top law enforcement official in our state. As governor, Stein has continued to prioritize his party and far-left donors over the wishes of the majority of North Carolina citizens and the rule of law. Remember, Stein received his law degree from Harvard. Enough said.

Trump’s abuse of power by overriding Congress’s role of overseeing spending and his use of false narratives of fake ’emergencies’ to unilaterally use tariffs to alienate our strategic alliances is a travesty and will take decades for the US to recover now that he seems dead set on the tariffs and cutting of federal support for research, education and innovation.
