Did anybody really think that Skip the Omnipotent would allow the peasants, peons, and other ash and trash (his view of us) of his Fiefdom to have a say on how HE spends OUR tax dollars. The man (cough, cough) only cares about gaining and retaining power and getting his name forever in the history books of Guilford County.
Skip cares about Skip first and his sycophants next. The People are last, assuming they even show up on the radar. He has a pretty good lock on the “voting public”. They are the temporary voting class in the institutions of higher learning. They play an important part in how badly those of us outside the city of Greensboro get bent over time and time again by Skip and his minions. We are their cash cow.
The Republican Party/Conservatives do have the ability to gain the majority on the Board. They’ve had it before and things were nowhere as bad as they are now. How did they get it? People got off their couches, turned off Dancing with the Stars and went out and VOTED. I will admit that things like early voting and no ID haven’t helped, but those things can be corrected IF the People demand it.
The members of the Republican Party of Guilford County need to come out in things like the Rhino and show they have the necessary anatomical parts to speak up and challenge the members of the (National Socialist) Democrat Party members of the Board of Commissioners at every opportunity, even if they lose the vote. Show the people you are working for THEM not the Chairman.
