This is a response to the protestors, the protestors that tore down the Silent Sam statue in Chapel Hill. I’d like to say you reap what you sow. Just because you tear down monuments does not mean you can erase history like you think you are doing. All I’ve got to say, I’ve been raised to be polite, so I cannot say what I really think about you people. You cannot remove history just by tearing down things like that. And when you successfully get started on the second version of the Civil War, it won’t be Northern aggression this time. It will be right and wrong.

The globalist Angela Merkel encouraged two million Middle Eastern immigrants into Germany, almost all young muslim males, and as protests take place in Chemnitz after these attacks, her spokesman condemns “people who spread hatred on the streets.” But he is not talking about the muggers and murderers and rapists. He is talking about his own German citizens who are peacefully protesting the illegal importation of millions of foreigners who do not share Western values of tolerance and civility, have no discernible skills, and have no wish to integrate into secular liberal Germany. And that is why Merkel’s moribund governing coalition will soon be displaced by the Alternative for Germany, a so-called far right populist party. Germans, like Britons, have had enough. Germany won’t leave the EU, but it will get rid of its Clinton-clone chancellor. Just sign me off as An Independent Thinker.

Greensboro city residents, keep a check on your water bill with all this issues with the tainted water and the water treatment plants in Greensboro. If any repairs need to be done or any testing needs to be done, and problems need to be corrected, you will be the one paying for it. So, keep a watch on your water bill. And anything that rises in the amount that you have to pay. Because the city will have you pay for anything – you will be responsible for all repairs. The city will put it into your water bill to fix repairs. So, you know the city will not be responsible for that. A mob pulled down Silent Sam. Ask yourself: Why did the police stand back and let it happen? There is absolutely no room at Carolina for mob rule or anarchy. I wish the students over at Chapel Hill would protest about something that’s worthwhile instead of picking on an inanimate object which has no life in it. It’s just sitting on a pedestal doing nothing. Not harming a thing. Why don’t they protest something worthwhile like abortion and save these unborn children who just women go down to the local butcher shop and have that baby aborted? It’s a live human being. Now that the cowardly radical young college students have taken Silent Sam down, and also want to tell the students, he’s not real. It’s a monument. They think he’s real. It’s time for the UNC alumni to stand up and withdraw all funding to the school until these kids are held accountable for their actions.

There are some students at the university that would like to repair and put up the Sam statue back on the university or just recreate it. They’re actually collecting money to rebuild or repair the current statue. I thought that was kind of interesting. But I just read about it online. There’s actually a Go Fund Me page and another page is up. If you’re interested in donating, you can find it online if you just look. But I thought it was kind of interesting. I know there’s talk actually in Raleigh of finding the students that tore it down. Because there’s some state law and federal law that was passed just recently. I think it was in the last two years to make it a felony offense to tear that down, which means you could be looking at 10 to 15 years of jail time. Since it was mostly students, I don’t know if the university or the police would enforce it.

Hey, taking down a Silent Sam was BS, and it was a breaking of a serious period in our history. If anybody doesn’t realize that, they’re not a student of history. And I am. And I disagree with it. It’s unreasonable that those students that tore that statue down at Chapel Hill should be allowed to get away with it. The university ought to be out there and subpoena every single news camera they get, prosecute everybody there. Find out who did it, and who didn’t do it. Those that did it should be arrested and be forced to pay and fined $100,000 apiece. It’s time this kind of stuff stops. In the first place, it shouldn’t be happening at all. But if it does, the state has to be the one that makes the decision. And the state should have more guts than to let it happen. I mean, after all, it’s a communist influence. If you don’t believe me, just tell me how many statutes and monuments there are to the czars in Russia after the communists. That’s what it is here. One by one every Democrat in the US should be deported. The Democrats are against any moral values that the country was founded on. They are against freedom. They are against prosperity. Yes, I’d like to address the vandalism of the statue of Silent Sam. Not that I may agree with Silent Sam’s statue, but nevertheless, it was vandalism. This has now become the trend. If you don’t like something, you just don’t bother to uphold the law. Vandalism occurs on the left and no one is prosecuted. No one pays for anything that was done. And it goes away. The same thing is true with our borders. We have a law that says – we have a border, and people aren’t supposed to cross it. And we illegals that cross it all the time. And, again, nothing is done. Silent Sam stood for over 100 years at UNC as many others have stood in the US. I hope the professors are happy now. The wrong word is being used to describe the people who knocked the Silent Sam statue down. They’re not protestors. The definition of protestor according to Cambridge Dictionary is someone who shows that they disagree with something by standing somewhere, shouting, carrying a sign, etc., or someone who protests publicly about something, or someone who complains strongly about something. The correct word to use here is vandals. Definition of that: A person, often in a group, who intentionally damages public or private property. We allow and we protect protestors. We arrest and we prosecute vandals. At least, that’s how it is supposed to be.

John, for those that did not look at the optics from your article in the Rhino Times August 16, the takeaway was Denver lured VF Corporation away from Greensboro for only $27 million in incentives without even consulting Greensboro politicians or economic developers. It is akin to a spouse in the middle of the night leaving a bad relationship with only what they can fit into a suitcase. But in this case, the suitcase held $13 billion, not big enough, they left $2.5 billion on the nightstand with a dear John note. Go deeper, but city leaders and very well-paid officials need to look at how our city is perceived for growth.

Elizabeth Warren was on CNN and actually said that it was more important for illegal immigrants’ children and babies being separated than it was for the death of the Tibbetts woman in Iowa. I saw where the mob at the University of North Carolina tore down monument known as Silent Sam and defaced it and everything else. This taking down of the Silent Sam. I find that reprehensible. I think if you want to put up African-American statues, that’s all well and good. Put up Frederick Douglas. He was a great figure. How about Eli Whitney? There are several others I could name. But now we’ve got a statue in High Point, John Coltrane. What if white people tore it down? I’d just like to say that these young people don’t know what they’re doing down there in Chapel Hill. You go back and check your history. And check out Germany back in the late ’30s.
