Election Has Deeply Divided Country
Dear Editor,
Regardless of the final outcome of this election, this country is deeply divided. Whichever candidate is finally sworn in as president will be declared illegitimate by the other side that will refuse to accept the results.
Anyone who says or continues to say there is no voter fraud is simply whistling past the graveyard. There have been enough proven cases of various types of fraud to show it does and most likely has existed. To what extent I cannot say for sure, but I personally believe what has been shown is just the tip of the iceberg. I also believe it has done very serious damage to the confidence of the American people in their election process.
What I find so hypocritical is how the followers of the (National Socialist) Democrat Party spent the last four years and millions of taxpayer dollars trying to prove that President Trump was an illegitimate president based on election interference by Russia, and even after no proof could be found of any interference. But as soon as there is solid proof that there is someone attempting (and it appears succeeding) in muddling with the election, they begin screaming “conspiracy theory!”
This mail-in ballot ploy, not the absentee system, which is different and has plenty of checks to make it mostly secure, has done more to destroy the confidence of people than anything. And it’s interesting how all these mail-in ballot problems seem to be taking place in key states where the ‘rats could be sure they had a lock on the results. I don’t see California or New York having issues. That in and of itself makes me a little suspicious.
If the election is called before all these questionable issues in places like Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Georgia are resolved, I will readily admit I will not be able to accept the results. Given how many seats the ‘rats lost in the House this go around, the real test on how badly the system has been compromised will come in two years during the next election cycle. If there is a fair election I believe the (National Socialist) Democrat Party will lose control of the House big time and Republicans will get a bigger majority in the Senate. This idea scares the ‘rats and you can be sure they will pull out all stops, legal and illegal, to make sure that doesn’t happen.

I think what you are missing, that you are so quick to point out usually, is that media only highlights the cases where fraud *might* actually make a difference. You don’t hear about it in California now because there’s a 5,000,000 vote difference. You hear about it in Georgia and Pennsylvania because those states are close and a few thousand votes could make a difference. You’re actually a victim of the thing you often cry out against – your media keeps playing up Michigan (150,000 votes in favor of Biden), Minnesota (20,000 votes in favor of Biden), Pennsylvania (65,000 votes in favor of Biden), and Georgia (14,000 votes in favor of Biden) so you think that’s the real story here.
The New York Times called officials from *every single state* and not a single one has indicated there is evidence of fraud that would change the outcome of the election. Here’s a passage from that article:
“The New York Times contacted the offices of the top election officials in every state on Monday and Tuesday to ask whether they suspected or had evidence of illegal voting. Officials in 45 states responded directly to The Times. For four of the remaining states, The Times spoke to other statewide officials or found public comments from secretaries of state; none reported any major voting issues. Statewide officials in Texas did not respond to repeated inquiries.”
Instead, you have a guy voted out and his clan refusing to accept the results of our democratic process.
What I’m *not* hearing you say anywhere is that you want a fair election in which every legally cast vote is counted. You are saying you want to limit mail-in ballots because you perceive that as dangerous (even though Oregon has always done voting that way and, again, not a single state has indicated there was fraud in their own state that would change the outcome). You are saying you want the states that could flip the map in your favor to be double and triple checked but aren’t calling for looking into the results of other states with questionable issues like Texas, Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina. In reality it’s because you simply can’t come to terms with 306-232 being a “landslide” victory for Joe Biden and that it was coupled with a 5,500,000+ popular vote victory being the actual will of the people. You think that your opinion is the right opinion and most people must think the same as you. It turns out, we don’t. We elected Joe Biden as our President and Roy Cooper as our Governor.
Accept it Alan, your man-baby lost. Four years ago, Hillary conceded in the same circumstances despite winning the popular vote by nearly 3,000,000 votes. Now, it is future inmate #80085’s turn to concede.
So what you’re saying is you want 4 or 5 states deciding who is President.
Ya, that sounds REAL fair for the other 45 or 46 other states and their citizens.

So you are agreeing they should audit Texas and North Carolina and Florida and Ohio, for example? Every state does matter. Every state doesn’t make the deciding vote. Elections often are determined by the results of the “swing states”. That’s simply how it works and the system that enabled the big orange man-babay to win without even being close to a popular vote win in 2016.
How would you do this otherwise? Each state gets 1 vote? That doesn’t seem fair that the 17 million votes of American citizens in California would collectively receive the same value as the 1.7 million votes in Iowa.

I think you painted yourself that way by refusing to accept that every single state thinks this election was run fairly (although, Pennsylvania’s Lt. Gov. has cited 2 cases of Republicans voting for dead people) but you are pretty sad and whiny about the results you just don’t like. I think you painted yourself as a sore loser by not even responding to any of the points I made other than acknowledging that our electoral system of voting does in fact give a lot of deciding power to swing states (in every single federal election). And let’s be clear, TWENTY THREE states (not four or five) made the decision on who would be president. Nearly EIGHTY MILLION people made the decision on who would be president.

Al Gore was declared the winner in his bid for the Whitehouse however it just wasn’t to be… like now there was a bit of miscounting and since dumbacRATs run most election boards (imagine that!) there was confusion. When you’re trying to run a small scam everyone has to keep it together…. however these are dumbacRATs so the ball was dropped more than a few times. The bottom line is this… Al Gore was President Elect for exactly 37 days but NEVER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! Al Gore was not declared the winner. He actually conceded early after polls had closed and most states were called and then rescinded his concession when he realized the shenanigans in Florida. The Supreme Court in Florida did not allow them to complete a recount and therefore the mistakes of “hanging chads” (not the same as invalid ballots) were never included which had a reasonable chance to flip Florida. Likewise, Biden has not been declared the winner, but the AP and nearly all news sources have presumed he will be with the results are certified next month.
Republicans run most election boards in the United States. Actually, I don’t presume to know how every state runs their elections, but Republicans have more governors (26) and control of more state legislatures (29) than democrats, so presumably they have a lot more control in the election boards.
Again, Al Gore was never declared the winner. Stop peddling that lie. Maybe also stop being excited for all the times that your guy wins without winning the popular vote. (GW Bush, D Trump, and presumable B Harrison since we have established that you are just another old, privileged, white dude).

I like how the author says “no matter which side…”. No matter which side wins, the last thing we have to worry about is whether it was legitimate or not. Both sides have proven over the last six election cycles that no candidate will address what truly matters to Americans. No matter which side winds no progress was made with North Korea. No matter which side wins China will continue to grow into a large super power and tariffs will no longer affect them. No matter which side wins we have a department of defense but no Department of peace. No matter which side wins centuries of land and business ownership won’t shift hands. It’s the very definition of ownership. No matter who wins, this basis of our current American capitalism will continue to be confused with inequality. My taxes went higher with Trump. Fact. My affordable healthcare became more unaffordable with Obama. Fact. We can’t count on politicians to get it right. We the people need to be united now more than ever. But the people selling us the show have us perfectly divided 50-50. Lord help us.
