The mayor and City Council must think voters are fools, especially with the bond issues being proposed on the ballot. The $126 million they proposed for this bond issue is in addition to the $165 million on previous bond issues that were authorized but have not been – the bonds have not been sold. So, in essence, the voters, if they agree to the $126 million bond issue, they’re going to give the City Council and the mayor a free hand in starting to sell the bonds for the $165 million that were authorized previously. So, in essence, we are going to be getting not one, but two, tax increases if we vote these bond issues in.

And come to find out, a lot of Republicans – I hate to say it – seem to be mostly seniors, don’t seem to understand that they are not voting for Walker anymore. They’re voting for District 13. I do not understand why the Police Department is doing nothing on Sunday. For the last five Sundays in a row I’ve gone to my building, ReMax building, on Muirs Chapel on Sunday around 11:30, trying to find a parking space. I’m handicapped, and the handicapped spots are taken. There is two of them there. One of them is being taken by a legitimately handicapped person. At least they’ve got a handicapped tag. The other vehicle is a white SUV. There is no handicapped tags in the window. There is none to be seen, and they stay there to about 12:15 or 12:30 and they leave. I want to know what’s going on.
