The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office reported this weekend that on Monday, Sept. 1, Sheriff’s Office detectives with the Major Crimes Investigative Unit initiated an investigation that involved a juvenile victim.

A few days later, on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, 71-year-old Luster Coronelious Parker was arrested for one count of Felony Indecent Liberties with a Child.

He’s currently being held in the jail in downtown Greensboro under a $5,000 secured bond.

Presumably because this is an ongoing investigation and it involves a minor, very few details are being made public at this time by the Sheriff’s Office.

According to WTVD, a television station out of Cary, NC, Parker was a former Panther Creek High School’s women’s tennis coach.

That High School is in Cary and is part of the Wake County School System.

Officials at the school said the alleged conduct wasn’t related to any incidents involving students there or anything occurring on the school’s campus.

The  school district did confirm to the station that Parker is no longer an employee at the school.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is being asked to contact Detective Z. Cabral at 336-641-5773 or Guilford County Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
