Guilford County is inviting residents to come out and support local entrepreneurs at a Small Business Pop-Up Shop on Saturday, July 18.

The free event, hosted by the Guilford County Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship at 1451 S. Elm-Eugene St. in Greensboro.

The pop-up shop event will feature more than 15 local vendors and small businesses – giving residents a chance to shop locally, meet business owners and get a look at some of the entrepreneurs who are helping make up Guilford County’s small business community.

In addition to the local vendors, the event will also feature treats from local food trucks.

County officials say that the event is meant to highlight local businesses while also creating networking opportunities for entrepreneurs, business owners and members of the community.

The Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department works with local entrepreneurs and small business owners to help them get a good start, and the July 18 event is one more effort to bring attention to local businesses and help connect them with potential customers.
