Memorial Day means a lot of different activities for a lot of people, but one thing that’s usually included on that list is having fun in the water.
Several weeks ago, Guilford County announced some information regarding its summer schedule for pools at county parks and, this week, just in time for the Memorial Day holiday, the county released more detailed information about pool and spray ground activities and the hours of operation throughout the summer.
Starting on Saturday, May 25, Bur-Mil Park, Hagan-Stone Park and Northeast Park Aquatic Centers will open to the public – however, the pools will be on the modified schedule below before eventually moving to a seven day a week schedule.
Here are the upcoming Aquatic Center hours:

- Sunday, May 26: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- Monday, May 27: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Saturday, June 1: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

After that high summer season, the county’s Aquatic Centers will revert to weekend-only hours until Monday, September 2.
According to county parks officials, all of the aquatic centers
feature a beach-entry, a toddler slide, and spray features for kids and adults alike to enjoy.
Hagan-Stone Park features a 22-foot slide with twists and turns, while Bur-Mil Park and Northeast Park have diving boards.
All facilities will observe special hours for county holidays and special events. You can visit the Guilford County Parks webpage for a list of those dates.
Admission to the Aquatic Centers is $5 per person, while guests under two years old are free.
Frequent users can save money by purchasing a 2024 Aquatic Center Discount Pass, which will set you back $40. Discount passes will allow visitors 10-weekday entries into Bur-Mil Park, Hagan-Stone Park or Northeast Park Aquatic Centers (excluding holidays).
