A letter to the editor from Austin Morris
Franklin Graham is being reported as saying he never had seen such pain before 9/11/2001, and that it is hard to fathom the evil that caused it.
It might be hard to fathom, but it’s not hard to identify.
All the perpetrators of that evil had one thing in common : their religion.

I agree with you, Austin.
America has learned little from 9/11. The world has a Muslim problem, and it is Islam. They are not compatible with the U.S. culture.
America finds Muslim political power growing rapidly. We have been told that Islam is a religion like any other, and only racist, bigoted Islamophobes feel differently.
Islam Is Not a “Religion of Peace,” and they do not teach peace. Islam has doctrines of warfare. Some Muslims may be less about warfare and fighting, but Islam teaches to kill the unbelievers.
As the Muslim population grows, they start to be more aggressive. There’s safety in numbers.
We need to know our enemy, and we’ve failed to do that since 9/11. The whole idea of Islamophobia is to intimidate people into thinking it’s wrong to oppose jihad and Sharia. Muslim jihadists plan to kill all Americans.

Muslim politicians are already making inroads in the socialist wing of the Democratic Party.
There are at least four Muslims in Congress: Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota), Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan), André Carson (D-Indiana), and Lateefah Simon (D-California).
Judging 1.8 billion people by the actions of 19 extremists on 9/11 makes no sense. Mainstream Islamic leaders globally condemned those attacks, and dozens of Muslims were among the victims killed that day. Extremism exists in every religion, but it doesn’t represent the whole group.
Al-Qaeda’s actions on 9/11 no more define 1.8 billion Muslims than the KKK defines all Christians. Blaming an entire global faith for the actions of a radical minority is a huge logical leap.

The difference between socialists and communists is significant:
Socialism is a broad category that includes democratic and reformist traditions, including systems that retain private property and democratic elections. Communism, in the Marxist sense, seeks a fundamentally different economic and political system, historically associated with abolishing private ownership of the means of production and establishing collective ownership.
The difference between Islamist and Muslim is even more significant:
A Muslim is a person who follows Islam. An Islamist is someone who advocates a political ideology in which Islamic principles should play a governing role in the state. Most Muslims are not Islamists, just as not everyone who favors some form of socialism is a communist.

Marx was the progenitor of socialism and communism, and predicted it would come about through violent revolution in the most advanced industrialized nations of the era, specifically Great Britain. He was wrong about that, as he was wrong about almost everything. His life was that of an effete and derelict intellectual, and by some accounts he was a Satanist.
Socialists sought to achieve the classless utopia through gradual, peaceful means, rather than violent revolution, but their goals are exactly the same as communists.
I must admit it was disgusting to see Trump meet with NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani before the UN General Assembly Meeting this week and praise him as a great mayor. This sends the wrong message that he is befriending a Jihadist, Marxist mayor.
What compared to your message of bigotry against a mayor just because he is Muslim?

Whenever the British police refuse to reveal the identity of the culprits, it means only one thing : they are foreigners, almost certainly muslims, who were born in London.

Is this an attempt to make excuses for Islamic terrorism?
No other terrorist organization ever invoked their religion as they performed their atrocities. The IRA never shrieked “Mother Mary is Sacred” when they blew up innocents in London and Birmingham. Timothy McVeigh never even mentioned his (Christian) faith in reference to the Oklahoma City bombing. That’s because their faith was irrelevant to what they were doing.
But for the Muslim terrorists their faith is central to what they are doing. That is why they shriek “Allahu Akbar !” – Allah is Greater – as they commit their crimes. Not only are they explicitly making their atrocities Islamic, they are expressing cultural supremacy ; Allah – our god – is greater than your god.
Trying to draw a false equivalence between the systemic, ongoing, and unrelenting terrorism of Islam and other random acts is spurious and base pandering. And breathtakingly naive.
