I am a Republican in Guilford County, and I can’t figure out what is wrong with our party. The Republican headquarters seems to always be closed where the Democratic headquarters is functioning every day including Sundays. But, anyway, our party chair, Troy Lawson, that runs our party, is apparently too busy running for his own political seat instead of running the party. And, apparently, that’s why it’s not open. A lot of the Republicans have been trying to get campaign signs and other things for candidates. We can’t never get in because the doors are always locked because no one is never there. And says Troy focusing on the Republican headquarters being the party chair, he’s out campaigning or something, because he’s never there. The office is always closed. To call up there, you get a voicemail nonstop.

Do you ever decide to not buy something because of its commercials? Years ago there was a TV commercial for the Toyota Camry showing it occupying the left lane on an empty three lane highway with a voice repeating, “I’m too sexy for the slow lane, too sexy for the slow lane.” I have never bought a Toyota since. This morning on Fox 8, TIAA ran a commercial that depicted dozens of smiling people, none of whom were white except for two homosexual men at the end. I get the message – straight white men are excluded. No problem, I’ll never invest a dime with you. And Woodard & Company used to air an absurdly verbose and pretentiously worded radio commercial in which they used as many pompous sounding big words as possible when concise words were clearer and more honest. Who were they trying to impress? It certainly wasn’t me. Just sign me off as An Independent Thinker.

Yes, here’s another gimmick from the City of Greensboro. #InvestEast. They’re saying investing in the east, eastside of Greensboro is going to improve how the city looks. It’s just another gimmick, just like they did for changing High Point Road’s name to Gate City Boulevard. They thought that was going to improve the way the city looks. That was a gimmick. It cost the city more money for businesses on Gate City Boulevard to change their addresses and business cards and websites to change their address. As soon as people get rid of Our Gang off the City Council and start cleaning up the city and putting crooks and drug addicts in jail, you’ll understand, now we’ll clean the city up. Investing in the east is not going to clean up the city until you get rid of the City Council and the crooked Police Department that we have, and the drug addicts that we have in the city.

Hey, John. Interesting article about these Summit Avenue apartments, especially the part about you’re supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Don’t ever get pulled over for suspicion of DUI, because at that moment, you’re guilty. They arrest you, take your license for 10 to 30 days automatically. Then you have to pay up to a $300 administration fee just to get your license back even though you haven’t been convicted. And, also, you end up paying a couple of hundred dollars to get your car out of the impound lot even though you haven’t been found guilty. After your trial, if you are innocent, guess what? Just wanted to share some of my thoughts with regards to Judge Kavanaugh’s hearings and selection process. We’ve all been watching this over the last couple of weeks, and we know that it’s just despicable the way that we are seeing, particularly, the Democrat senators behave and act out in this hearing. And, now, the whole thing with this lady who’s accused Judge Kavanaugh of some inappropriate behavior way back when they were all teenagers. But I think the situation is even more serious than that.
