I just read a Scott Yost column about how the City of High Point was planning to be slow plowing snow in residential neighborhoods. I’ve lived in my house, which is not far from the hospital since 1981 and a city snowplow has never visited my street. This is actually pretty much in keeping with the rest of High Point city services, but I thought you should know, it’s a lot worse than they claim. Have a good day. Bye.

Yes, I’ve been following some of the information that has been in your paper about the sheriff’s department and how our new sheriff, Sheriff Rogers has dismissed I believe it is 25 positions in the county Sheriff’s Department. I’m just curious about how much money that is going to save the Sheriff’s Department. I’m just going to assume that if you have people with an average salary of $20,000 a year plus their benefits, you’re talking close to half a million dollars that could be saved in the county Sheriff’s Department and that’s amazing. So I’m just curious if that’s something you folks know about or what he plans to do with those funds. Is he going to ask for less money for the Sheriff’s Department going forward? So thank you for your response if there is one.

Well, this is going to be my second call this week. I want to just take the opportunity to thank the City of Greensboro and I guess that’s going to be the street department for the excellent, excellent job they’ve done in clearing the main roads and thoroughfares in and around the city. And in addition they’ve even gotten into the neighborhoods and cleared some of the main streets through neighborhoods. They’ve done just a fantastic job and have gotten it done in a timely manner. That’s a well done for our city operations. I’m generally not one who has a lot of praise for the City of Greensboro, especially when it comes to our mayor and the city council, but the folks on the ground that are doing the work on the streets are doing an outstanding job and thank you very much.

I want to thank my three uncles who fought in World War II, and the Korean War and my son who fought in Iraq. They are my heroes all of them. I didn’t have to serve in Vietnam because I was my mother’s only son, but I’ve been fighting ever since. All you soldiers and sailors and marines out there, thank you. Good night.

When Donald Trump got elected in 2016 on that very historical night, instead of Democrats getting behind him and trying to move the country forward, they chose to tear the country apart. For about 757 days now, every CNN show has opened up with Donald Trump, Donald Trump, and Donald Trump. Every MSNBC show has opened up with Donald Trump, Donald Trump, and Donald Trump. That’s all they have done is run this man down, talked about him and talked about his family, come up with false accusations, fake interrogations and worthless investigations. It’s unbelievable Donald Trump, Donald Trump Donald Trump, and Donald Trump. It’s all you hear from these Democrats. Now when Obama got elected, nobody ever ran any of his employees out of a restaurant. Nobody ever called for anybody to bother or harass his people like Maxine Waters has done. The Democrats have chosen to tear this country apart and to divide this country. That’s exactly what they have done. They were horrible. Every Democrat in the United States needs to be deported and then we would have a good country again. They won’t be happy until they allow over 100 million illegals in the country, and that would change the whole country, which is what they want to do. They want to change the whole country and America needs to wake up. Thank you.

Once again, the 9th Circuit Court is intervening in national politics. This time it’s birth control and abortion and it’s consistently pro-illegal immigration. I don’t ever remember voting or electing the 9th Circuit Court. I voted and elected Donald Trump along with the rest of the country. I think we need to break up the cabal of the 9th circuit.

Yes, I have got a Facebook page up, I don’t want to give you the address they can find it if they do a search. But anyway, I am trying to clean up Greensboro. I am trying to get a movement started. Right now the city of Greensboro is handing out panhandling licenses so people can stand on the street corners all over Guilford County, in front of businesses and can legally ask for handouts. I am trying to stop this. I am getting sick of all these people standing at every corner wanting to clean my car for a dollar or begging me for money or beating on instruments thinking they can play music when they can’t and expecting to get paid. Basically what I’d like to do is to get a law passed in Guilford County, all of Guilford County that states that it would be illegal to panhandle in Guilford County. What this means is that you would not be able to stand on street corners. You would not be able to stand on public streets. You would not be able to stand in front of public businesses and ask people for cigarettes and stuff and drive people nuts, you know. I’d like to get this passed for all Guilford County. First offense would fine them for money. For a second offence second offense, they would actually transport you and drop you at the county line. Take you out the Burlington or Rock Creek Dairy Road somewhere and drop you off. Anyway, I have got a Facebook page up and I have got a bunch of people following me and a lot of people supporting it. I’d like to talk to the new Chief, Danny Rogers and see if we can get this thing rolling and get a vote on it. I think first of all is encouraging these people to stay on the street corners by issuing these stupid panhandling license. This needs to stop. It makes Greensboro like one of the poorest places I’ve ever seen. You have people standing everywhere begging for money and some of these people are not even broke. Some of them are driving cars more expensive than I got and then you actually have some legit people. But what I want to do is I want to get a law passed that puts a stop to panhandling on corners, standing on public streets begging for money and stuff. And what would stop is every time I go up to a gas station to get gas somebody is asking for a cigarette or to buy him or her some beer. It’s one thing after another and I’d like to see this stuff come to a stop. I’m motioning for Danny Rogers to put something in motion to try to help us get this done. BJ Barnes wouldn’t do it. He’d rather get the money and issue the licenses. He’s no longer Sheriff, which might be one reason why. Find my Facebook page login to it if you support me and help me get these vagrants off these streets and clean the city up.

Editor’s Note: The panhandling licenses in Greensboro were abolished by the City Council.

Well, I’ll be having a blue Christmas. Again, there are no Rhino Times out there. It’s been four weeks. I guess the Grinch has worked his evil deeds and everything now. So I guess we’ll just go to bed with tears on our pillow knowing that there’s no more Rhino Times out there. Goodbye.

Editor’s Note:  The last print edition of the Rhino Times was published on Nov. 25.  But we’d love to have you come see us online at rhinotimes.com.

Yeah, I was just watching that UNC board speaker talking about Silent Sam and them not doing anything. I’d just like to say it seems to me like here in the last few years actually that everybody else’s heritage is a worth more than ours down south. I mean they have their reasons, but you don’t hear us hollering and crying and carrying on about different things. Silent Sam, it’s not their statue, it belongs to the to the South and they ought to realize that it’s not going to hurt them unless they think it’s a ghost. Maybe that’s what their problem is, they feel so guilty. They want everything torn down that doesn’t relate to their race, creed or religion. Everybody’s against what America really stands for or used to stand for and people have no guts to stand up for it anymore. It doesn’t seem like. Thank you.

Yes, I’m calling about the Statue of Silence. Most of the people that are complaining about Silent Sam weren’t even born at that time it was put there. I think it’s disgraceful that they want to move it or tear it down or anything like that. If they can’t stand to see it, tell him to go back North and they shouldn’t have any problem. Go back up north and they wouldn’t have to worry about a statue. There are other schools other than UNC. They can go somewhere else, but tell him to leave history alone and start teaching history the way it actually was. I thank you very much. Bye.

Once again, one of our elected officials being Roy Cooper has vetoed legislation that all the people have been wanting. Thank you, we appreciate it. I hope they override his veto. Good day.
