Mo Green came to Greensboro with a chief of staff and five regional superintendents to run the schools. Of course, the school board agreed. I hope you read the salaries of the school employees. We now have 11 school support employees. That’s only a change of title. Same people are in the same jobs. Salaries are $125K to $150K. I guess if we get another superintendent, we will have to have 20 or more. Eleven will not be enough. What do they do? Also, I read that only 35 percent of eighth graders are proficient in reading and math. Maybe they need to be in the classrooms helping.

Today, Friday the 13th, I was driving around running some errands and listening to Rush Limbaugh’s show. He mentioned that in the latest TV ratings, the HGTV Network, that’s the Home and Garden Network, have better ratings than CNN and MSNBC. Hey, you grown men and women that ride bicycles are in these bicycle clubs, can you, please, reduce the amount of people, or at least break them up, that you have riding in a pack? I just passed one. It had to be at least 75 grown men and women bicycle riders on Pleasant Garden Road taking up the whole lane. And anybody that’s been down Pleasant Garden Road knows that it’s a long narrow curvy two-lane road. If you’re going to have 75 people on bikes riding around, could you at least do it single file instead of taking up the whole lane? You bunch of fools.

I received my good tax bill on Saturday of this week. I have a question for myself and for all other taxpayers. With the thousands of employees by the City of Greensboro and the county of Guilford, why do we not have a competent person that could take care of our tax bills here instead of being mailed to Charlotte? I’ve got a question. I have probably never heard the answer that I know of. Is the United States the only country in the world that allows a young’un to be born in it from foreign parents and that makes them a citizen? If it is, we need to change our law. Another thing is on the school situation about the budget. I would like to say to them, they’re not the president. And they have no right to be telling the president what to say or do.
