Illegal Crossings Cost Big Money

The media, Democrats and RINO’s all have their hair on fire about what they see as horrible separation of illegal immigrant children from their parent, perhaps to distract from the Department of Justice inspector general’s report. John Kasich and Jeb Bush in their desire to run for president in 2020 are piling on. Their selective memory refuses to state that Obama, Bush, Clinton did the same.

As head of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen stated, those who entered the country at legal points of entry were not separated from their children. In the US, people who are going to jail are regularly separated from their families. Then there are Trump’s Angel Families who have been permanently separated from loved ones after they were killed by illegal aliens.

Children are separated from a “parent” when immigration is unable to be sure the child is actually their child. Some children have even been stolen for this purpose. This began with the rumor that people were released more easily with children.

Daniel Horowitz in “The Immorality of the open-borders left” says: “We can continue telegraphing the message that when you come here with children you are home free. This will continue fueling the drug crisis, growing MS-13, enriching the drug cartels, including sex trafficking and terrible crimes at the border, encouraging illegals to kidnap children to gain admission and causing death and mayhem on both sides of the border. Or we could finally deter this behavior by announcing an end to any immigration requests not processed in a controlled environment through our embassy.”

George Soros and his one world government crew, including Democrats, want totally open borders to destroy this country by overwhelming all our systems and creating chaos, destroying the US as we know it.

Medicare is projected to be bankrupt by 2026 and Social Security by 2034. Why do we never hear that welfare for those entering out country illegally is going bankrupt? Our citizens’ future is being held hostage by people who feel no compunction about breaking our laws. Often they live better on benefits than our own citizens, and with no plans to assimilate. We can no longer take in the world. Illegals cost the US billions a year. If a wall cut down just 10 percent of illegal crossings, it would pay for itself. Enough is enough. Build the wall.

Grand Old Flag

Dear Editor,

As we pause to celebrate and reflect on this nation’s birth 242 years ago with the signing of the Declaration of Independence, here are the words to a George M. Cohan song that we need to embrace and hold close:

 

You’re a grand old flag,

You’re a high flying flag,

And forever in peace may you wave.

You’re the emblem of the land I love,

The home of the free and the brave.

Ev’y heart beats true

‘Neath the Red, White and Blue,

Where there’s never a boast or brag.

But should auld acquaintance be forgot,

Keep your eye on the grand old flag.

 

And we also need to recall and uphold these words from the Declaration itself whose signers risked their very lives to sign the document:

We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed …”

It’s absolutely essential that our elected officials take the above seriously and base their thinking and decision-making on the words of our founding fathers with an eye for promoting the general welfare and furthering the common good for all those who reside within this great nation.

No Borders, No Peace

Dear Editor,

The conflict over immigration never seems to cease. For some reason there’s a portion of the population that believes that no borders and unlimited immigration is an ideal worth pursuing. To these individuals I would like to make the following proposal.

Please leave your name, your home address, a daytime phone number and the number of rooms you have available for these people when they arrive. Additionally, you should include documentation declaring that you will house, feed, clothe, educate, medicate and recreate these people at your own expense.

There now, that’s fair, isn’t it? After all, you’re the one who wants these people here, not me. Just think of them as long lost poor relatives.

You can imagine how few volunteers there would be for such a program. Those that are always whining and screaming about increasing immigration are always the last to actually have a solution or make any effort to solve the problem. What they really want is to dump the burden and cost on the American people, while they stand back and pretend to be noble.

To quote Isabel Paterson, “The humanitarian in name is a terrorist in reality.”

America, pick a side.

Toward Uncivil War

Dear Editor,

Numerous times, I have pointed out how the mainstream media twists words and manipulates sentences in a way that the sheeple don’t notice what’s actually being said or conveyed. The classic, blatant example is using the word “immigrant” in place of “illegal immigrant.”

These kinds of subtle propaganda along with the convenient selective amnesia are how we have gotten to where we are right now. Mix in the lack of action on the part of law enforcement officers to prosecute the thugs that have made blatant, obvious threats to people, bake for a while and you have the makings for a very dangerous cake that’s about to explode. Moreover, when it does, innocent people will be collateral damage.

This is turning into a classic MAD (mutual assured destruction) situation. The extreme on both sides, left and right, are in the ammo up mode and are waiting for someone to blink first. It won’t take much, an object or a punch thrown, a perceived threating gesture, any sort of physical contact, and it’s Katy bar the door.

In truth, the left already has the jump thanks to the anarchists that are Antifa. They have already proven they are ready to do physical harm. Look at the reports of those that show up at their mob scenes armed with knives, bats and other weapons. Does the right have them as well? I’m sure they do. They just haven’t been as obvious as Antifa.

But it’s the mainstream media that is driving this, the 24-hour news cycle and the talking heads on the panel shows that feed the mobs, filling their heads with subtle messages and innuendos. Some have gone right up to the line of openly advocating physical violence. They have whipped up the sheeple into a frenzy and I believe it’s only a matter of very short time that one of them is going to cross that line and start a very uncivil war in this country. People will not be able to exercise their First Amendment rights (which by the way the ACLU has said they are going to start backing away from defending) without fear of being assaulted because some moon bat lunatic got butt-hurt by what they said or did.

Civility and common sense is becoming a rare commodity in our society. The sane people need to start watching their and each other’s six.

Go Galt and save the republic.

Careful Heading Left

Dear Editor,

Why is starvation still the number one health problem in most socialist countries while obesity remains the largest problem for capitalistic countries?  And in this regard, did Obama target the right people for food distributions here?

There may be some truth to the claim that some socialistic measures make capitalism work better but an all out socialistic society in our nation has been promoted by our elite college professors since I was in college.  So, it’s only natural our youth seem to be pointed in that direction.

But nothing is perfect and our college students will pick their own fate, and I can only say this: Look closely before you leap.  Our early colonists saw how sharing everything equally allowed some to do nothing while others worked.  And, by obvious design, everything in creation has all of us reaching higher in one evolutionary way after another and it is hard to find anyone who ever succeeded without first failing, in one way or another.

President Reagan pointed to that shining city on the hill that the left seems to resent.  We must ask, “Why?”
